Share Figma files properly & prevent a surprise bill!

I'm attending Config this year and know a few folks who work at Figma (which oddly autocorrects as Dogma on my Phone!) and chat with someone about it. It's really not ok. There is an easy fix. Just have a warning when you select "edit" as a sharing option. Done.

Hi, I have 5 pages in my Figma file. When I used the "Share" button it shared only the current page. How to allow access to all 5 pages?

when you share you share the whole figma file. there's no need to pick which one to share

You’re welcome :) you can also check your seats in the admin panel if you ever need to check within billing period

How do you share an editable version so they can edit the file but you don't get hit with the seat cost?

Unfortunately that’s not possible. You pay per person that’s editing in your figma file.

No, as soon as you invite someone as an editor to your instance. You get billed by Figma. Unless you’re on enterprise model which cost significantly more you can’t control or limit this.
