this was so heartbreaking to watch knowing how beautiful their friendship could have been but anyone could see from a mile away that they were doomed from the beginning. kokona and aditi were brilliant in their roles.

The moment Priya moves away her hand when Bharti tells her that she is a Dalit. That was a heart wrenching moment. Priya didn't even realize that she was in love with Bharti, but drew the line at her being a Dalit. Bharti's revenge was very poetic by the end though.

Why do people keep forgetting what they shared was more than a "friendship". They shared a mutual romantic attraction. It's not even open to interpretation, they literally acknowledged it, both in the movie as well as in interviews.

That makes this even more relevant. They could go beyond the social norms regarding sexual orientation but could not overcome the social boundaries regarding class n cast. Progressive within personal space but regressive in social context. So the divide is more obvious and deeper than we believe .

Just watched it last night and my heart cried for Bharti throughout! Finding out that Priya didn't have any special skills to land Bharti's dream job, Priya's birthday celebrations and Bharti being called in to serve the cake, getting a lady's bathroom within months of Priya joining, all of that was forgiven by Bharti but telling Priya telling her in-laws about Bharti's status leading to Bharti being treated unfairly in her home broke Bharti and I LOVED how she took revenge!

Priya wanted to get back to work, but her in-laws didn't want her going back after the baby. Bharati played her cards correctly by siding with her in laws comvincing them to let Priya stay home ( despite knowing Priya hated the idea) and taking up her role in the office. Yes it is satisfying as Priya wanted the comfort of her upper class life and at the same time be with Bharati secretly without acknowledging their relationship ever..Here we feel satisfied as the audience is empathetic towards Bharati...but in any other situation, this would have been sad for a woman who wants to work but is forced to stay home. So many layers to this short story❤😮😮

This was such s beautiful episode. There are characters like Aditi's in real life who seem so innocent but are actually super selfish. In the end, there is a sense of satisfaction as Konkana's character takes 'revenge' from Aditi's but feel sorry for her as well and it makes Kankanas character selfish as well.

This type of series makes me realise how fortunate I am, my parents never teach me to check someone's caste before making friends 😊. I never choose a friend on the basis of their caste or religion and fortunately got some friends who really care for me. The thing is being a brahmin they criticize me for not following the society rules. I always said to hell with these rules that I make my own rules to respect people on the basis of their behaviour not by their fate.

He makes us look inwards into out privilege and how we are insidiously and unconsciously creating man made boundaries between God’s children( and maybe all living beings too). @@kaashi4267 idk why yt keeps hiding my comments.. I suppose it wasn't a lie when they said LEFT has completely taken over media , look at what happened in Instagram, they blocked hashtags mentioning reasi terror attacks but has to unban it b'coz of firm opposition.. Anyway ,the thing is when IT HAPPENS TOO often it is no more a conviction againsts social evils ,it is no more a eye opening activism for the betterment of the society but a process /an agenda. I'm from a tribe from northeast. Who has interests in everything. I want to ask u a MAINLANDER , is it not true that caste system exists in MUSLIMS AND CHRISTIANS too?? Like pasmanda ? Like the khatri Christians? Or inter-tribal heirarchy and discrimination doesn't it happen?? And it happens reverse too naxalism is the prime example and AMBEDKARITES bullying brahmin kid or false st/sc caste discrimination cases?? Don't they happen a lot? I agree there is still Casteism but what about the tribals conditions? Like for eg. I forgot the date but mint author released a news regarding a couple of a gond male and a SANTHALI women being ostracized from the community coz they married outsiders ,they were beaten and were not even allowed to have water from the village well.. There are many such cases.. And what about the discrimination in corporate world ? It is the same if you hail from a village or a 2nd tier town then be ready to become a permanent slave , a real punching bag.. Let's not forget racial hatred .. The racist slurs against ne Indians by mainlanders and racial slurs againsts mainlanders by Ne Indians( yes it is common here , just yesterday a haryanvi family was attacked with intentions of murder due to skin colour and hatred ).. But nope bolly has to attack only Hindus and specifically the BRAHMINS(not that I have blood relations with them but it is so fishy😨) In MAHARASHTRA, the AMBEDKARITES forced the govt to erase history of Gurus of Shivaji just b'coz both were Brahmins , AMBEDKARITES also forced bolly to change this specific dialogue from BAJIRAO mastani movie ,"PESHWAO k rehte huwe koi brahmano ki janeu ko Chu bhi nhi Sakta " into " PESHWAO k rehte koi Nariyo ki maan ko nhi Chu Sakta".. These people often attack the Brahmins of Maha in groups on specific days like Jan 1 shaurya diwas.. www.firstpost.com/opinion/the-brahmin-files-why-atrocities-on-brahmins-remain-one-of-the-best-kept-secrets-in-independent-india-10555251.html Bolly intentionally made pK like movies to hurt Hindu sentiments. They literally made burkha equivalent to ghunghat which is a complete DISASTER burkha is religious obligation whereas ghunghat is a cultural obligation that too in northern part only . In South ,things are no different they literally show a Christian lower caste p*ssing over a brahmin and his yajña and nobody literally nobody even whishpers againsts such things coz it is ACTIVISM tada...
