Hey Jordan great question! It wasn’t a full integration. I was using the wordpress page to gather leads form the form and then did a redirect after the form was completed. Hope that helps take care!

Thoughts on Airdev? It came up when looking for sample websites for Sharetribe and claiming to have more and better options for lower cost than sharetribe too. Reviews seem high for them too but whats your opinion on it?

it depends. Yes lower price but the learning curve is very steep as well. Dpeends your time to get to market and if you have the time to go into the bubble ecosystem and go that route. I know a lot bubble developers that like to use it but to be efficient building you're looking at 6-8 months for a marketplace

@@theglambookvendors I believe I have seen this only in passing. Looks interesting. WorkdPress are a whole other beast. It can work but to make sure the site and process stays operational, you have to monitor or have a team dedicated to make sure all your plugins are updated, ready revert on updates if it crashes your site etc. Also depending on hosting making sure the bandwidth scales with more visitors to the site. It seems like a solution to look into just depends how familiar you are with Wordpress. It is doable even for a beginner just will take time to learn.

Hey Mike, great question! You can definitely do that in Sharetribe Flex, but I’d look into if Sharetribe Go offers that via a Zapier integration or something like that.

do either of them allow for setting up subscription payments for sellers? For example, I want to charge a monthly seller tiers but also want to adjust the commission based on the payment tier. Is this possible with either or only with sharetribe flex?

Great question! That sounds like a feature for sharetribe flex. You could do some workarounds with embedding options and using direct stripe links but I think it would be better suited for sharetribe flex

I am trying to build a marketplace where people can post their yardsales and sell yardsale items online through my platform. I'm not sure between MyMarketplaceBuilder and ShareTribe. In general I would go with Sharetribe because how easy it is to get started and if you need more advance features you can shift over to Shraetribe flex later if needed. Hey great question! Sounds great! This depends on your team and how you plan to scale. In general I'm a fan of Sharetribe becasue you can start with Go and move to Flex later if you need custom onboarding and features. If I'm still in beta and my functionality is limited My Marketplace Builder is a good solution. I usually have a process if there is a limited amount of users so they don't see or get access to the entire platform at first but that's more on the implementation side of building the marketplace. Does this help? Also, we will have a limited amount of users first. Regarding the features: Communication is important, it being a multisided platform, and a reversed marketplace. Uncertain as to which features should be focused on based on our area (nonprofit, matching funders with interesting projects / ideas and talent)

Hey great question! It is possible with both options. I’m not sure I would either one if I would be creating a marketplace for digital products though. Depends how you want the relationship with buyers and sellers but for digital I’ve seen it successfully done with teachable and podia. Hope that helps!

I would check there pricing pages for details but I know Sharetribe allows you to use stripe integration. I don't think Sharetribe takes a % of each transaction.

@@docwilliams thank you I just got off a consult meeting with my marketplace Builder they have a monthly fee and that's it where I share tribe does take a percent which increases with sales. My marketplace Builder uses stripe.

@@theworldisastage3425 glad you had a great consulting meeting! Just quick clarification after talking to Sharetribe. Most plans don't take a transaction fee. Here's some more details from the Sharetribe- Apart from the subscription fee, there is no transaction fee/ percentage commissions for using Sharetribe Go.  Flex also includes a free transaction volume of $30,000 per month. However, for any additional transaction volume, you initially pay a 1% fee. As your monthly volume goes up, the fee percentage goes down. $100k -> 0.8% $250k -> 0.7% $500k -> 0.6% $1M -> 0.5% $5M -> 0.4% $10M -> 0.3% As an example, if in your marketplace, $50,000 worth of transactions happens in a given month, you'd be charged $569 ($369 + $200 as the 1% of the additional $20,000 transaction volume). If $1M happen, you'd be charged $5219 (0.5% x $0.97M + $369). Hope that helps!
