I'am brazilian, he's telling the truth. Here we have 2 schools periods, morning for a group of kids and afternoon for other group. It occurs 'cause we do not have enough and bigger schools buildings to reach everyone. We do have full period schools but they are not public they are private and very expensive ones. I feel happy you probably study in a country wich can afford for 8 plus hours of education. You are really privileged, hope you make good use of it and try to get out of your small world and be able to see more then your own reality.

@@thewatcherisBr No no ! I was born and raised and brought up in the countryside of Sao Paulo, Brazil and I also went to a public school with “full-time “ period.

Not all southerners are poor, but many of those kids we met didn’t have adequate food, or safe living conditions. There are poor people all around the world that need help and need better education.
