I lived in Carnegie and absolutely loved it because it ticked all of my boxes - delicious food (lots of great cafes and restaurants), had an awesome reformer Pilates studio, plenty of nail salons and massage spots, train station was convenient and there was an express train to the CBD and it felt very safe and has lots of young professionals and young families 🥰 thanks so much!

Hi Jamie, which suburb is this? i totally understand your decision though, family comes first and if you have family around there are plenty you can occupy yourself with as well, nonetheless nothing beats having your own place and decorating them to your liking, no more getting 'evicted' by crazy rentals and landlords.

I’m moving from Melbourne to Perth next year and my partner and I are discussing whether to get a moving truck or just to get rid of everything (sad 😓) It has been super hard to find and information. I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind sharing the cost of your move or point me in the direction of where I would find out. Thanks

Hey Olivia, no worries at all! And how exciting about the move. Are you from Perth? This was a super tough decision for us as well! We sold a bunch of stuff (as much as we could) and ultimately decided to use a moving truck for the rest bc I didn’t want to get rid of everything. At the time of our move and based on how much stuff we had, it cost us $3K. We went with the Fragile Removals company and personally had a good experience with them but maybe check their recent reviews as it’s been a while! Hope that helps and let me know if you have any more questions ☺️

I use Facebook marketplace for those types of items. Have purchased and sold a lot of preloved furniture there 😊
