You can try dog potty tray, dog toilet, litter box (also used for cats) etc. You can train Rex to use it. Then he can do his business whenever he wants inside the house too. You can keep the litter box inside the house or in your garden and train him. It is very difficult taking him out so far in freezing weather. That trail looks really lonely and unsafe, better to be safe than sorry. You can contact a dog trainer to give you tips on how to train Rex to use your garden for his business.

I know it is hard to see your mom suffer in her condition. Even I feel that way when my mom has fever or cold but your mom's condition is pretty painful for her. But we do our best to take care of them anyway, so what's the point in worrying too much or listen to people who just talk without knowing. Even my mom has thinning bones and mild osteoporosis but she is still pretty active. So life goes on....

Today because u mentioned it going tell all women it's very important to go to the doc..I was 25 i have severe pain in my feet who's even goes to the doc for feet pain..1 day I have horrible pain when I went they found a bone in my 2 nd toe missing ..I had to have a major surgery to get it replaced by the hip bone..I had all doctor s ask whe even bears so much pain..

Doctors negligence is so common in India but here also in US we have to be very careful, my father in law also got surgery so many years back when they were new to the country when they didn’t know you could sue doctor for his mistake, and he still suffers till now. Bachay I have the same issues as your mom, I have been suffering since the age of 27 and now I am 62. I am going through my second bout of cancer. I can understand and relate with you and your mom. Traveling is very difficult. I don’t even leave home much. Just make her as comfortable as you can and let her do what she enjoys.
