Buy the Shark APEX Upright Vacuum with DuoClean for Carpet and HardFloor Cleaning, Zero-M: amzn.to/2BpBTUk
@jadeflowers48505 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure if you know this but I just ordered one so I did notice this came as an accessory with my vacuum and is the same on yours. The brush which you call an upholstery brush is actually the pet multi-tool. That's why it had the brush ends on it. So in circumstances where the motorized brush might not work well perhaps that one will? Another thing to note is why it's called a multi-tool. It has the brush on it for pet hair but if you press the release button, under that is the regular upholstery brush. So it's really two in one. I learned this only after I bought the upholstery brush to go with my vacuum since it only seemed to come with a pet brush and I have not pets. haha

I absolutely love this Vacuum, like under normal circumstances I wouldn't pay 400 bucks for a vacuum but this one was worth it for me!! 😉 My tip to anyone is if your gonna spend a few hundred dollars on an appliance whether its a vacuum, steam cleaner, what ever get every attachment available to the device because in the long run you'll get the most out of your device and use it with its full potential.. I purchased the model that came with EVERYTHING available at the time becsuse like I say I'm an All or nothing type of consumer, but I love this vacuum and if you have this vacuum already you have to get the NEW duster hose attachment if you love to dust with your vacuum it has simplified my cleaning soo much because its like a mini crevice tool that turn into a brush if you need it too.. I wish it was out when I originally bought it but I guess its something new I spotted it on Shark when I went to order some filters and its worth the 30 bucks now I can clean my dryer vents better because the regular crevice tool is too big to fit in such a tight space..

I recently got the cordless powered lift away from Shark. It’s the P50 I think. LOVE it!! It doesn’t have the zero M technology so it does get hair wrap but it isn’t hard to take off. Being cord free makes vacuuming SO much faster. I still use my Miele for deep cleaning but the cordless lift away is awesome for quick daily stuff.

Its a good vac. The only thing ive heard is an issue with the apex and the apex zero m is the lil plastic rubber coated wheels under the main brush head. Ppl have said that they will break and crack later. Also its important not to judge how good a vacuum is based off its suction. Its all in the design of the brush head and average suction is more than enough to get average homes clean. Its nice to have extra suction power, but what if you need to clean thick carpet? Sometimes, strong suction can be hard to push. It takes more electricity to power a vacuum with strong suction. Just sayin
@Floppycats5 жыл бұрын
yes, i watched other youtube videos by more experienced vacuum reviewers about the wheels and how some guy made new ones in a 3D printer. pretty cool. it wasn't hard to push, so i don't think that's a problem, but i appreciate the input.
@andrewthepanda955 жыл бұрын
that's why shark has a switch that lets you switch between low-pile and high pile carpet it's on the high pile carpet reduces the suction to make it easier to push on high pile carpet

Hello, I watched your video on the APEX vacuum plus several other videos and I just got my APEX AZ1000 today and works great. I tried the APEX on my most used carpet which has allot of dust and amazed how much dust it picked up. Note I dont have any pets, so my carpets just have accumulated dust over time. I do have a question on your APEX from watching other videos. Since you have had the APEX since 2018, are you still using that vacuum and have you had any problems with the small front wheels breaking or becoming defective? From a couple of videos which are from people that do industrial cleaning, they said the original tiny front wheels would crack or become defective. Just wondered how yours is doing for just home use? Thank you and thanks for your video. Dave

Oh, I am sorry to report that I got rid of the Apex shortly after the review. I am also sorry I got rid of it! I decided to keep my bagged vacuum instead because bagged vacuums are better for fleas. However, I really loved that Apex - it was awesome. I went to my sister's house yesterday, the gals that clean her house were there. I was asking her about water vacuums (because we are reviewing one right now - kzbin.info/www/bejne/raepl3-rZtaMask) and Dysons, etc. She said hands down, Sharks make her favorite vacuums. I agreed with her that I have not ever experienced a vacuum with more suction power than that thing.

It has 2 pre-motor filters (foam and felt) and an exhaust HEPA filter. These filters are washable. To wash the pre-motor filters, rinse thoroughly in lukewarm water until the water runs clear. Squeeze out excess water and let air-dry completely for at least 24 hours before replacing. To wash the HEPA filter, rinse under lukewarm water, dirty side down, until the water runs clear. Allow the filter to air-dry completely for 24 hours. Do not place filters in the dishwasher or washing machine.

And wants to retire his heavy Dyson, that we bought ten years ago. He has no pets and he's bald, so it will be great for him. My grandson uses my hair as a security blanket, so I can't cut it at all. Audio is probably the least understood and least considered part of most KZbin videos made by amateurs. It's too bad KZbin doesn't have an automatic audio level "normalizing" feature that is switched on by default so that the average level for videos is adjusted for the KZbinr. In addition, it would be nice to have an audio compression feature as well, and again, switched on by default, to even out the soft and loud parts of people's recordings. Of course, you need to be able to switch both of these off if you want to so that people who do have a good grasp of audio production can control everything exactly the way they want. As it is, you almost have to adjust the levels by trial and error, comparing against other videos and then adjusting the levels for your video, and then uploading it again, so you can test-play it once more. This was a very useful and well-done video. The fact that the audio is very "hot" is just something that takes some experience to get right. When watching KZbin, because so many of the videos are home-made by amateurs (and isn't that really the point of KZbin?), you need to expect wildly varying audio levels, and always start off with your volume set low as you begin any video, and adjust from there. Personally, I never feed KZbin to my stereo system directly because you never know what to expect. Instead, I feed it through an audio compressor set to limit the upper loudness quite strictly. This saves my ears and my speakers feom damage. The cell phone manufacturers need to implement adjustable audio compression in the phones so users can switch to "KZbin Mode" to even out the varying loudnesses of different videos to protect people's hearing and headphones. I think people would love this feature, and it would be a good selling point. And, it would be fairly trivial to implement such a feature completely in software.
@Floppycats5 жыл бұрын
