Oct 14th, 2014. During our walk to the Cap Blanc Aquarium in Sant Antoni Ibiza we suddenly spotted this shark, which came very close to the beach/rocks. Desoreinted or looking for a human snack?

Thresher uses its tail to stun or slice its prey in half this was using its nose receptors and by its tail and fin its a tiger say 10 Ft

Thresher Shark. Unusual that close in, lots of bait fish probably brought it in.

Si. Digamos que en una escala de 0 a 10 siendo 0 nada peligroso y 10 lo más peligroso, yo lo puntuaria con 7. Son tiburones que tienen ataques a humanos sin provocación. @@fernandomorenotroncoso254

my friend found half a shark in the water earlier, it was somehow still moving so he wouldn't get in the water with it. this was kinda far off the coast in a boat. idk what did that to the shark but i do not wanna find out

*Blue shark* . 0:24 ( set the video speed to minimum ) If you don't know about shark fins, inspect the fin tail of a blue shark and that of a thresher shark, and you will realize that it is a blue shark. Tresher Shark some say. 😂😂😂😂

just a blue shark. they can grow up to 3/3-5 meters, But they eat fish not human lol. Just ignore it. Treat it as a big gold fish.
@impalaSS652 жыл бұрын
They are on the list over dangerous sharks, along with bronze whalers, requiem shark. They have even been mentioned with Oceanic White tips as the main scavenger at ship wrecks and plane crashes. So treat it as a goldfish is a bit too relaxed.
@dermotgodfrey14548 ай бұрын
I have been diving with blue sharks of the coast of Cornwall and they have very small mouths but still can pack a punch and you are right like the Oceanic white tip they do have a reputation for targeting survivors of shipwrecks and plane crashes because both species are Pelagic usually. But when diving with them they are fine obviously you are not presenting as prey, this is why divers refer to them as the puppy dogs of the seas.

Scary! There seem to be more and more sightings like this, with sharks appearing in places they just really shouldn't be, where people are normally swimming.

Juvenile Oceanic White Tip. Pilot fish 0:31. Rounded dorsal and relatively short tail compared to the clean a very very long Thresher. Also the tail (0:19) has a 90 degree 'hook'.
