Shark Carpet Xpert EX200 - Watch Before You Buy! Unboxing and Real Review

Today on Real Reviews we are going to be unboxing, using and reviewing the Shark Carpet Xpert EX200 with Stain Striker carpet cleaner. I honestly was not expecting much from this carpet cleaner after trying out a Bissell Carpet Shampoo rental and it failed. I thought that if the industrial one did not work good then this would be even worse. But I was pleasantly surprised since this Shark Carpet Cleaner actually did the job. I do however only recommend that you use any carpet shampoo type carpet cleaner if you have cement under your carpet since they do inject a lot of water. This water is safe on concrete but not so much on wood. So please be careful when cleaning your carpets on second floors especially.

I really like the machine. I bought the ex200 at walmart. I'm not found of the hose the way it attaches to the top of the handle, but it's not a big deal. Mine machine failed and called customer service. I did a live cam with the representative, and after we tried a few things, she apologized and said she was sending ingredients to me a new one. She did not have an ex200 in stock, so she was sending me a new ex201, and i should receive it in 3 to 5 days. Customer service was excellent and very pleasant. The other thing I didn't like was that the tanks were small but again, not a game changer. Just FYI the date of mfr is the number stamped on the blade of the electrical plug. Love the 5 year warranty.

Wow, that's great that you're getting a new one. After the video and thanks to some comments, I found out the hose actually attaches to the upper left side when viewing from the front. Take a look at that area and you should see where it attaches. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.

The plastic piece you’re securing the hose to isn’t the place to actually put the hose. That’s just a clip on cap for the hose so you can have it self clean by reversing the spray and it gets sucked back down the hose to clean it out. There’s another clip on the side of the cleaner to secure the end of the hose. Trust me I did the same thing at first😅

The EX201 has a pet head, a wide head, a small head along with the hose cleaner and the crevice tool so 5 tool to 3.

So then the EX201 is the best bang for the buck. I'm pretty sure functionality is the same, but extra tools at your disposal are always when cleaning.

There is an in-between model which has all the tools apart from the pet one.
