Joe Schreibvogel, who prefers to be called "Joe Exotic," (we call him Jailhouse Joe) will do anything for attention, so you'd think he would love cameras.
Schreibvogel does love cameras - unless they are pointed at the animals he holds in captivity, and abuses/kills for money.
Why did the Mississippi Valley Fair, in Davenport, Iowa, put up with this guy? The answer is because the fair is a major meeting place for people who use/abuse animals.

I'm pretty sure the "Mississippi Valley Fair" doesn't have the authority to override your first amendment rights. Its a public event on public grounds using public funds. If we were to take it like a concert, they'd probably have a case if you were filming to then just sell the concert footage, but if you're filming to do a piece on, say, drug usage at concerts, there's nothing they can do. What do the police do when you request to see the sergeant on duty? Usually that alters the interaction a bit. You could see on their faces that they had no clue what the law was and were going to do whatever the minimum effort on their part was. Also, as to the last bit, you have the right to film at all but a very few government buildings, mostly military and judicial system facilities. All this you already know. I'm still saying it, though. Oh, watch out for the carny crowd. They'll get violent more quickly than any other crowd I know of. Be safe.

Normally, I support SHARK but you speed up the footage to make the tigers look like they are pacing. I would say it is not uncommon if a breeder had deaths of animal over an 11-year span. Especially, clubs or say kittens or puppies if you are a regular breeder.

The cop tells her to stop filming, but then when questioned admits he doesn't know what the rule about filming is. If he doesn't know then why is his first reaction to tell her to stop? Similarly, the fair lady claims the show is copyrighted knowing damn well she has no clue what the copyright status is how the law applies in that case. It really annoys me when people in positions of authority feign confidence in statements they pull out of their ass, like they're projecting their own ignorance of the law onto the rest of the world. You can see this blowhard behavior all the time from security guards in first amendment audit videos.
