Summer Camping in Texas definitely requires nearly body of water and this 60 mile stretch of coastline along the Texas gulf coast is hard to beat!
Every part of this experience was an adventure. From navigating the beach in 4x4, to setting up camp, to finally catching my first shark ( 5 foot Blacktip!), this overlanding trip was one for the books.

Do you happen to know what rack your buddy has on that Chevy for the kayak?

@@Zp478775 it’s a rhino rack. I’ve got my eye on one of those as well. It mounts to the side of the roof in the door jam so there’s no drilling needed so it will accommodate a sun/moon roof
