AH shoot! I forgot the cake charm existed X0 Ye the ingredients should definitely have consume baseline! (Was too caught up on the fusion animation looking weird if i did) and ye, honestly if I could somehow make an extra deck where it stores your obtained ingredients and you can play them at anytime would be ideal. But unfortunately, I’m not a coder just working with existing pre-made code so I’m very limited with what’s possible. Also! another thing, a pet with ingredient minor was planned, and still planning on making one, but as to what it would do I wasnt very sure so I put it off since I feel like pets are very important to get right. I am planning to make a leader that has Anchor Minor to push the variety thingy more but we’ll see! Thank you for your thoughts and suggestions! Do not feel sorry feedback is always welcome!

@@sunnaryicurry8892 interesting. I'm guessing based on how charms work in the base game, you can set a list of what charms are allowed? Or some charms themselves have certain rules like " consume can't be added to consume" or " you can't affect the heart health of something with only scrap HP"

@@espresseaux The charms themselves have rules to what they can be applied to Charms that give traits usually have a rule to not go on cards that already have that trait, or traits that would conflict with that (For example, Gnome charm can't go on cards that already have Aimless, or Barrage) Cards have an amount of charm slots that is by default 3, but can be changed (For example Chuckle charm just adds 100 to that) Sidenote, I think Terrormisu just has 0 charm slots, which is why she can't have any charms, but I could be wrong

Hey Voyix, I really love your videos, and today I noticed something I wanted to share with you. I think you would probably agree that your general playstyle for games is that you're a deeply strategic thinker who tends to try to optimize your play to the point that it allows you to beat some pretty difficult strategy games. I really like how you tend to talk through your thought process as well. As you work out the solution, you often give us some insight into how you came to your decisions, and because of that I've learned A LOT about Wildfrost. So today I noticed that you were rolling the enemies so hard that you stopped focusing on the strategy and essentially sent your pet shark out to do war crimes while you chatted with us about what was on your mind. I've seen you do this before in some of your OP runs, but today I realized that it reminded me of NorthernLion quite a bit. I'd be willing to bet that NL would say that his shift from focusing on gameplay performance to focusing on conversation was a significant paradigm shift in how he interacted with and cultivated his audience. And to be fair, this time the conversation was still about strategy/gameplay mechanics. I don't want this to come off in any way as a suggestion for you to change your playstyle or anything like that. I think it's pretty clear that you thrive in this sort of playstyle whereas for NL, it's not really his strong suit. And again, I really love your videos. (I'm always on team: "I Love Money"). I'm just curious about whether or not you've noticed this before. Do you feel like it's all the same and you're just talking about whatever's at the forefront of your mind whether it's strategy or something else? Is heavy strategy more comfortable because you never run out of topics for conversation? Is casual play more comfortable because it's less mentally taxing? All in all, I just wanted to say that it's cool to see this other side of you from time to time - like today you just straight up got into the weeds of Slice and Dice during the final fight, and yet I think it's safe to say that the Frost Gang you fought today won't be in Wildfrost 2.

21:30 Velvet was supposed to attack 12 times because they got 4 attacks from triggering off Terrormisu, 4 from killing the Makoko, and another 4 from killing the Pepper Witch. Alternatively, they should have sunk 2 hits into Makoko, then they lose the next two because they trigger again, sink two into the Pepper Witch + King Moko, lose the next two because they trigger again, then 4 into King Moko, for a total of 8 attacks. The question of which one is dependent on whether or not they interrupt themself; upon reviewing the footage, they seem to interrupt themselves, leading to them making 8 attacks, which is the number of attacks they make in the footage. The reason you were counting 10 attacks in the combat log was because you were counting hits and not attacks, and two attacks hit two targets each.

I think the best solution for the ingredients would be to have them remove themselves from deck after use. Cause at the moment the only way to remove them is to use them to upgrade a card. It also shouldn't be that hard to implement since you could just give them the same key word as the all-in-one. Having them consume like you said would be good as well.

Slay the Spire devs also do their best to avoid tedious mid-fight infinite meta-scaling/farming, as a result one of the most egregious forms of mid-fight infinite healing left over is magnetism (2 cost power, at the start of your turn add a random colorless card to hand), the magnetism pool alrdy doesn't include bandage up (heal 6hp) so no infinite healing there, but it does include jack of all trades (add random colorless card to hand) and transmutation (add x random colorless cards to hand), both of which DO include bandage up in their pools, so if you're block positive on enemies you just sit there and wait for the heat death of the universe to get enough bandage ups from jacks of all trades/transmutations to heal you to full every time, it would be psycopathically insane for anyone to attempt this every game so they prolly didn't see the need to patch it out which is fine, but yea it is a worthy design consideration for aspiring game designers of both published games and mods to evaluate which forms of mid-fight infinite meta-scaling/farming to exclude or keep also in general shouldn't the Draw Again keyword just not be buff-able text in the 1st place (lumin/cake charm/etc.) since Draw Again 1 is a replacement, but even just Draw Again 2 is alrdy an infinite waiting to happen or not rly in wildfrost context where there isn't an easy way to discard cards from hand without redraw bell?

Worse is Silent, who has: 1. A card that makes potions. 2. A card that makes 3 copies of a card in hand next turn, including itself. 3. A potion that reduces all incoming hits to 1 damage, one of the best in the game. This means that some decks can stall out turns and cycle potions until they have the 2 that they want, so long as they can block well enough (Silent has a lot of tools to do so). It's also not a hard combo to pull off tbh, 3 rare cards (weirdly common in STS), likely to see both in any given run. The bigger benefit for the cards you mentioned is Hand of Greed, which gives you gold on kill. That's meta scaling. I've had runs where I've stalled for Hand of Greed, stalled for Apotheosis to upgrade for even more gold, and then cycled through my now much larger deck to kill every enemy with the Hand. So long as that's a choice rather than something that you're forced to optimize into the game, it's fine. There's also an endpoint where you don't gain any value, unlike a money infinite like the one Voyix showed off in another WF mod (think it was Hollowfrost). The Magnetism thing will get you what you want pretty quickly, the Silent potion thing has an endpoint (though it can take a while because you have to roll the entire potion table). An uncapped resource though? Can be fun for a while, but you only go up to the funny numbers once or twice.

@@patrickmattin9609 the worst theoretically is probably watcher, since wish lets you gain gold, which is the only uncapped way to get a resource (hp caps at your max hp, hand of greed needs non-minion enemies to kill, wish is unlimited) as a result its theoretically possible to gain infinite gold, and then (if you have courier) get unlimited relics/cards in the shops, but you would probably need prismatic shard and a lot of luck to get nightmare on watcher (or to get wish on silent) and it would probably be absolute hell to actually play out

I agree, the backflip mod has become integral to the modding scene, peak idea for sure As for my thoughts on feedback: Every now and again someone will give you their thoughts on a card or effect, but it actually doesn't happen as often as you might expect. I think feedback is important and appreciate getting it. Usually I prefer having a problem pointed out than being offered a solution to a problem I might not see, because sometimes people go "I think this card should do this" and I'm just wondering "Why?" - but of course both of those can go hand in hand, pointing out a problem and offering a solution Now, the Goobers mod has over ten times as much subscribers as any of my mods, so Sunny's experience might be different to mine
