The Shark Spartan GT helmet features a multiaxial fiberglass shell with all the features you'd expect from a serious touring lid. Features include a multi-density EPS, an Optical Class 1-rated visor, Alveotec-lined interior (glasses-friendly), Sharktooth intercom slot, and adjustable ventilation. A Pinlock Max Vision insert is included in the box.

I wish they’d bring back the Explorer Carbon R, and modernize it a little. It’s a great helmet with the flip up visor, sun peak and internal visor. You can configure it with any combination of those. It’s so good, I bought two of them and I still have one in the box. It’s the perfect Supermoto helmet.

I loved my RSI It actually fit like a long oval, closer to the Arai Signet

I like Shark Spartan previous gen: good price, nice interior feel, very good sun visor, in same cases better than Shoei RF1200/NXR. Big plus that, the visor system is improved over old model.

2 shell sizes at this price point is just not going to cut it; basically means as a Large helmet user this is immediately off my list. Don’t understand why a manufacturer would basically alienate it’s xs and L users

Cost cutting, if they can reduce manufacturing costs and simplify warehouse management by more than it costs them in sales losses from it it's still a gain. It's one of the reasons I stick to my Arai lids, yes they are pricy, but they come in exactly the size I want, no need to compromise.

@@hkeg80 yes same here, bought an Arai rapide exactly for this reason because the Large shell size was the top shell size in that bracket. Other helmets I’d tried where the large shared a shell with the XL and up made my head look huge. I’m really glad I did because it’s an ace helmet

I like my previous generation Shark Spartan, but I have had a hard time getting replacement parts.

The finish was superb on this helmet . Now for the bad bit the whistling at slow speeds was that bad it would have driven me mad if i had kept the helmet , it was nothing to do with the vents as i taped them up to see if it made any difference and it did not .It was the visor that was creating the wistling as i moved my head from the normal riding position it would dissapate slightly.I never installed the pinlok but the internal visor fogged up straight away I am gutted because i loved the graphics on the helmet but the noise was too much to live with even with good quality ear plugs fitted .I ordered a large as i am 59.5 and the helmet was ok but i suspect that after short time it would have become a bit too slack !!!( Shark only do 2 shell sizes). Now to try something else Scorpion exo1400 carbon or maybe an HJC RPHA 70.

I bought Speed R Series 2 five years ago and I had this same problem with noise so Shark did not improve this. I also did test ride for Shark Race R Pro and this helnet was also very noisy. So Shark is horrible product. I tried HJC RPHA 70 in this year and compared to Shark was very quiet bur my KBC helmet is little quiter than HJC.

Whistle bothers me too, what did you get, have you found better one? Maybe Shoei Gt air 2, but it is more expensive.

@@saltire546 great, so whistle is gone. Shark seems good, but that whistle bothers me, not sure what to do. IS HJC better in other regard, general noise when closed?

I received mine.....it's a fabulous helmet indeed.....it does have a few quirky nic pics about it; however the helmet does feel like a well constructed amazingly beautiful alternative to shoei or arai. 🇺🇲 If you can catch it on sale for under $325.00 go for it🏍️🏍️🏍️

@@pablinsaaid9419 actually it's quieter than most helmets because of the way it fits around your neck with the breath guard. It's a great helmet.....until you take it apart to clean the liner. Putting liner back in is a painfully slow process....it kinda sucks.

HJC much more quiet. Shark is very noisy. Don't buy them if you don't was destroy your hearing.

Not sure I'd buy a helmet that has a shield that is so difficult to remove, they can't even do it in the promotional video!
