To prevent ny shark stratos from clogging, and reaching the motor, I would empty the tank about 1/5th the way filled each time. Basically, in my house halfway through a room, I would dump it out. It even says so on older sharks like the NV352. Its one of the main reasons these machines end up in the garbage all the time, so make sure you prevent it from over filling. And also, make sure each time you empty it out, open the top and use your fingers to scrub the metal intake [with a very gentle amount of presure] . It will be full of dust if you dont do it, but after 2 - 3 times or doing so, nothing will come out. And make sure you take out the HEPA filter and tap it out with medium pressure every month, and was the 2 filters at the motor once every 2.5 - 3 weeks. And make sure you also check behind the soft roller bar because hardly - none suction comes at the top bit, that's also another reason why it cant clean from the front against edges. Another maintenance tip is to clean the dust cup once every month or so as wellz this prevents dust going into the intake, and the filters lasting longer, and change out the 2 filters at the motor once every 3 - 4 months [depending on how much you vacuum] and the hepa filter every 6 - 10 months [again depending om hoe much you vacuum] Also, when clraning the dust cup, make sure you dry it to the last bit, and once every week, grab a toothbrush, and clean the metal intake bit. Make sure you also dry the dust cup after rinsing it out because rust could build up. But yea, this helps shark vacuums last longer, and dont forget to check for any tears/rips on the hoses, and check for any clogs, thats all. They can last from 6 -7 to a decade or even higher. Love your content tho

Could you do a comparison between the DC44 and gen5detect? Or even the DC16 (I think, the cordless) to demo how far Dyson’s cordless tech has come? That would be so so so cool

What is the wattage on the Stratos in the UK? I know it way less the US version which is 1400w.

Do you like this vacuum or do you prefer a different one ? And do you think it picks up fine dirt the best ?
@parwaz78615 ай бұрын
The Stratos unfortunately isn’t a very good machine for carpets. I’m pretty sure it’s one of the best vacuums ever for hair, due to its rubber blades. However, it lacks decent bristles (the existing bristles are extremely soft, almost like carpet fibre) and a LOT of airflow leaks out the vents in the handle and the front fluffy duo clean roller too. It’s quite disappointing how Sharks are seen as premium vacuums, but their technology to keep the filters clean isn’t as efficient as a 30 year old Dyson, the filters lack seals so the motor gets very dusty and they seem to be more suitable for surface cleaning rather than being a proper deep cleaning vacuum cleaner. For hard floors, I believe a Shark with duo clean is by far the best, as crazy as it sounds, it’s better than a Henry and Miele too because it doesn’t snowplough large debris. Reliability though is another thing to consider on the other hand

What do you think is the best Shark model? The Stratos seems very promising, but I do remember seeing how much it struggled on the last performance test. 😅 Great video as always, this was relaxing to watch. 🤗

Oooh, I quite like the anti hair wrap models without the duo clean, they stick to the floor better and seem to deep clean a little better than the ones with duo clean

Dyson makes the best, most powerful cordless vacuums, I like the V15, although the V8 is much more simpler, lighter and more reliable. It works on all floors too

Hello , i ask you , i live in europe , whats the best tools i can use with my vaccum for Car carpet cleaning ? Im a professional its for help me everyday
@parwaz78615 ай бұрын
I think a crevice tool is the best choice, they concentrate the airflow the most. If you’re looking for removing hair, a Dyson tangle free turbine head is brilliant too, although they will need an adaptor to fit some vacuums
@sandwichburger48563 ай бұрын
@@parwaz7861 hey thanks, i use crevice tools but for sea sand is very difficult to remove , like sea sand is realy heavy and stick and not come easy in to vaccum , i buy some miele air brush turbine but that not good at all for carpet ... I realy struggle with sea sand in car

Gostaria muito de ver uma aplicação desta em um ambiente com pets como Huskys. Eles soltam bastante pelos, principalmente no carro que parece que o pelo fincam no estofado e é trabalhoso de tirar.
