Why is no one asking why has there been no rectangular kegs until now? Round kegs are much more efficient at storing pressure meaning you dont need as much wall thickness. Making it rectangular increases manufacturing costs and overall weight. The pressure problem comes from the corners in the rectangle creating stress concentration.

I know right. In Australia we get 5, 10 and 15 liter kegs, they are round, the 5l easily fits in a regular fridge. On the boat, people just drill two holes for the tubing in a small bar fridge.
