Shark visit!! What type though?

While kayak fishing, an inquisitive shark came to have a closer sniff at the ski.

Looks like a blue

Yeah its a blue shark. Those big wide airplane wings and thin body give it away immediately. Worldwide distribution. Not really a concern at that size. They do have teeth but a normally a fairly timid species when young. They hang in large schools when young then roam the expanses of the ocean when bigger. Nice encounter.
