Im planning to buy this case today, if there are no better options while in the shop that they have in stock. And cause of this video, and the follow up one, and how you explain things that are really easy to follow, ive decided to subscribe to your channel! Keep it going with this awesome work!

Hi Mike. I never have probs with missing holes 👀 as BEFORE a build I decide HOW the cables are going to go AND if necessary CUT extra slots/holes et I always use a file to remove any sharp edges et Rare but when I do works for me. How big hole / slot for the audio cable? two holes drilled close together creates a slot prob 8mm - file to smooth and we're done. That's the beauty with mild steel cases they're so easy to mod if you have the tools to do it. I like the completely covered in lower power supply HDD cover. I'm a GameMaster case fan and theirs as you know has a slot that I usually cover with a glass warning sticker et Also with just the raw case you can mod it with ie vinyl to change some of the colours et interior BEFORE the build. Gold and or carbon fibre works well with the ARGB. I might be tempted on the next build to go for this case 🐱👤 Stay safe ! Great review 👍
@mikesunboxing4 жыл бұрын
thanks arthur, like the idea of carbon fibre, might have to get a MSI carbon AC motherboard to do it justice though

Its not a tall midi tower, those 3 fans look like a tight squeeze to me. Looking at the roof I would also agree that a radiator is probably going to impede on the motherboard or connectors.

@@mikesunboxing No you didn't Mike, I was just commenting after watching that "Its not a tall Midi Tower" I was comparing it to my Midi which probably 6 inches or so taller. Also, on Discord you asked my YT name and I gave you my Instagram name "Wildlifesnapper1" like a nerd, my YT name is Gary Haigh.

I don't know, for the same money or less you could get a Thermaltake V200, NZXT H510, or a Rosewill Spectra D100 which has a mesh front. All three of these cases have a little better build quality, in my opinion.
@mikesunboxing4 жыл бұрын
Yes lots of competition at this price point

i missed half of the review as you was teasing me with the rev220 partially in shot. (Postal delays mean my 200s delivery is pushed back to arrive on my birthday like gifts. The great lattice of coincidence that lies on top of us at play) I don't recommend trying to remove front glass panel, you would have to use heat and the plastic would deform before it got hot enough to release the bonding. I have seen it tried before 3 times now the results are not pretty.
@mikesunboxing4 жыл бұрын
lol video update on that due wednesday and maybe i'll give the glass removal a miss :-)

Good video! Can't wait for the next video of this case. I'm still unsure if i should buy this case, i would like to see the temperature differences with the front fans being on the back of the front mounting area.

Spoiler it made a big difference to am using the case now in the pc behind me in the videos and it is much improved with the fans moved back a little

@@mikesunboxing That is nice to hear. I was going to buy the tg6 case from sharkoon but that case has the front fans mounted like the tg5 pro and it seems a bit difficult/complicated to mount the fans behinf the frame. I don't know if it is even possible but this case seems easier to work with. Thank you for your reply and keep up with the good work :)

@mikesunboxing4 жыл бұрын
There are intakes and the airflow seems okay on first inspection but most likely can be improved
@paulb4uk4 жыл бұрын
I will be interested to see the difference in cooling fan location when you build it ,the corsair case i bought has limited airflow at the front but the front panel is hinged to access an optical drive and with it open fans can get airflow through the front dust cover so my plan is to leave the front open when gaming or partly open ,
@mikesunboxing4 жыл бұрын
i did the build last night and i moved the fans behind the mount and the airflow was much improved, have a play with the fan mountings and you might get a better result

I purchased the game max ARGB crusader it's got all the cut outs in the right places, it takes six 120mm fans but the ARGB hub only has 5 3 pin connector's but luckily my cit halo fans have daisy chain connector's leaving plenty of connector's for the rest of my ARGB stuff

Oh and re those glass panels.. hmm doing some research into etched glass ? A crystal glass cut effect would with ARGB give an astonishing finish to a side panel. Imagine a fairground / ferris wheel scenario? Litho cut is also another option to explore..🐱👤
@mikesunboxing4 жыл бұрын
good idea, i like it!
@UltraGameWorld4 жыл бұрын
Overall not bad but the price is the issue for me, if it was £50 then it's a winner but £75 is putting it in the same class as Phanteks, Corsair and Cooler Master cases which usually have better overall build quality and are easier to build in so at £75 I wouldn't buy it personally.
@mikesunboxing4 жыл бұрын
is was unsure at first and now a day later after doing a build and checking thermals etc i think it might be a good alternative to the others you mentioned. But of course if it was cheaper then that would be amazing

to control the argb via motherboard/software ¿do i have to plug the sata into the power supply and the 3 pin cable into the motherboard? ¿Or just the 3 pin cable?
@mikesunboxing2 жыл бұрын
you still need the sata to power the ARGB the 3 pin ARGB is basically a data cable sending the info to the hub or splitter
