So happy for ya Gabe. I have owned nothing but Toyota since 1992. Have had Camrys and Corolla for long commutes back and forth to work. For Truck...several Tacoma and a couple of Tundra. Retired now and don't commute. Only drive back and for the truck for fishing. I have owned many cars and trucks thru my 73 years. Toyota has served me better than any others and hold the best resale value. Yep, thought about an F150 just 5 months ago and decided to go back to another Tacoma.

Glad you folks had a lot of fun fishing ahi. Happen to me couple weeks ago. Capt called at noon ahi biting 3 mi. out of the Honokohau harbor. Loaded up the ice & started trolling. Bird pile, ahi jumping like your video. Hanapa'a, 130 shimano 3pm. Landed a 140lb ahi. Went straight in to harbor 4pm. Tight lines

Gabe’s a great story teller, you feel like your there and involved in the story. He and Kelly are both good cook, never pass up a home cooked meal when they are doing the cooking. It’s ok to show losing a fish, makes the rest of us feel normal since most of us lose more that we catch.

Gabe Nice looking new ride. I am curious how the new twin turbo motor compares to the old tried and trued 5.7L. I sold my 2017 tundra and ordered a new 2020 GMC AT4 diesel and could not be more happy. On another note those shorts are serious. When fishing in Oregon for many years we used to have seals eat the fish off the line and we would use a potato cannon to scare them away. It really worked and wonder if you have ever tried it there in the LA and FL areas fishing. Cant wait to come down to FL and go fishing. Thats all I can think about when all we see around here is white snow.

I am glad I am not the only person that saved a hook that you thought was lucky. I landed an 80lb yellow fin in Cabo on 30lb test and a 1/0 mustad circle. I threw on a sardinero and was feeding it out then this back comes out of the water and roll on my bait. My buddy goes yoooooooooooo that was your bait, I’m like oh my god I know I fought that fish for an hour and 45 min. Again fishing a 30 lb outfit not that beast of a rod and reel you were using. So I cut the hook off and I keep it in my tackle box! Do you have an email I can send you a pic of the fish and the hook.
