It was really nice to duel against you....I never thought I would ever get to duel against you LOL....I was pretty sure I was going to lose,because I kept drawing only backrow....until I finally got what I needed....Earthbound Immortals do actually have potential...but they also have significant weaknesses like reliance on the field spell...Also,I did play Malefic Cyber End Dragon at 1st in this...but eventually took them out because they were conflicting with the main goal of the deck...and made the deck even more reliant on getting the field spell 1st turn... Also was surprising to see you play Sharks,they are one of my Top 3 favorite decks..but I play the Rank-Up version...you seem to play the Rank 5 Xyz variant with Geyser Shark...I probably will try that variant out as well...i,m not sure if I would play Eagle and Panther Shark though...they seem pretty inconsistent...although at the same time they might be necessary,because we don,t really have any really good LV5 Sharks....

That's how Depro works. There are certain cards you always top decking them on your opening hand. Cards like Upstart Goblin, Veiler, Maxx C, Cardcar D, Rank-Up-Magic The Seven One. I used to run one copy of Rank-Up-Magic The Seven One and always draw that dam card first turn and dead in hand.

Mound OP? We've had March of the monarchs for ages already... Mound is just good with lvl 10's and only earthbounds can abuse Call of the haunted like that. That being said I just rekt harpies with Slifer and Mound on tag duels... so yeah it's pretty fun.

True, but best monarch build is with frogs, and treeborn conflicts with March of the Monarchs. Also, mound may only be good with lvl 10s, but march requires a tribute summon. Earthbounds with call of the haunted and malefics use special summons.

Monarch facts, using level eater as the engine. Any artifact + level eater + armageddon knight = 101 or exciton Any monarch + level eater + artifact = rank 5 engine Beagalltach pops monarch searcher when you need to access extra deck. Try it, its fun.

You can also try running dragon ice , it is a lvl 5 water and it also gives you another way to discard gazer shark. In addition you can play tidal so it can search.dragon ice with gold sarc and use it's second eff to send gazer to the grave. Finally you have a lot of waters that you don't need in the grave so tidal can be a 2600 easy summoned beater every turn. :)

You know, there are other Rank 5's then just numbers 19 and 61, in a deck that can make rank 5's pretty easily, it might be a good idea to include other ones as well.

Seriously, the only level 10's that can be EASILY brought out are metal reflect slime (a trap monster), tragoedia, exodius, metaion, red-eyes darkness metal dragon, and night express knight. Trag, Metaion, and REDMD are the only ones that can actually do anything, without galaxy queen's light and a bunch of little monsters -.- The rest aren't worth running, or cannot be brought out unless you go to great lengths like this guy and his 3 COTH's.

Perhaps tech in bear? you're running tenki...so it would add some more utility to the card... and allow you to pop back row effectivly which seems to be the biggest problem you had in that duel...

if you play waters why bother with the freezerdon lancer setup? Use something that actually accomplishes something, like abyss splash, because the 2 lv5 water xyz aren't all that terrible, especially compared to freezerdon

Couldnt you have at around 14:10 flip-summoned mother grizly normaled your lvl 4 shark in your hand then gone for exciton knight torrentialed it then reborn it with your xyz reborn then use exciton knight to blow up the field (8 cards vs 9 cards)? You would have ended up with a draw of supply unit and gotten the Duality. Set My body as a shield and end your turn seems more solid to me as it wouldnt require any luck on your draws. If your opponent had something at that point you'd have known you would have lost anyway. Just cause you said you didnt have any other options... Imo Sometimes its ok to go minus to prepare a push or prevent an oppponents play.

I figured a draw loop that uses 2 spells and one monster (with one extra monster u will be gaining LP and ur opp losing LP) hint its a combo evil bakura used way back when and supply unit ;) never got it in game testing though :(

Most of the Signer Dragons are generic synchros, so any Synchro deck can run them.

okay this is driving me crazy. I've been trying to build a good Shark deck for MONTHS and nothing I build works. I've even tried out a few decks online and I just can't find a deck that's good or is any fun. The Rank 5 deck is so slow and irritating especially with the fact that the only good Rank 5 monsters that are even worth playing are Zenmaioh, Volcasaurus and Tiras.

I made this deck and hated how it flowed I scrapped this deck for another snark deck I put together just from lv4 and lv3 sharks and it works 10x better then the lv5 sharks bahamut sharks effect and black ray lancer = awesome also nightmare shark is pretty good when need be.

That earthbound immortal deck was pretty mediocore. What i like to do is give my earthbounds a tanuki engine, mainly for that obedience schooled card, but the good part about a tanuki engine is that if you don't happen to draw an earthbound immortal, just play the duel like a regular raccoon player would. It's great. Earthbounds are not dead, they just need the right engine.

Sarah Strickler Okay...yeah that will always be the biggest weakness of Earthbound Immortals...there are ways to protect your field spell,but they are mostly unreliable...But I personally find Earthbound Wave kinda inconsistent and Wiretap doesn,t protect the field spell from Mystical Space Typhoon,which is the most common card used to get rid of the field spell...
