Nurse burn has been around for several years. They have tried to make it through tournaments in the past but they get dead hands which make them lose. I actually have some buddies which used variants of this deck and used it at their locals a while back (2011) and while some didn't make it through round one, others made it to the top. They end up winning a few matches and then they wipe out because of their own self-conflict. If the deck got to be more consistent and had other cards in it which could deal with problems directed at its' backrow then I totally 100% agree with you that it would blow away everything and top.

As a bujin player, I can honestly say the deck does run on auto-pilot depending on how you build it. Originally the game was to protect yamato and stack the grave as much as possible. but now the game has evolved to where we don't really need him to win as much.

Qli might be a good counter right now if you get lucky enough to set up first turn. If you get skill drain you block nurse while being able to search for a 2600 or 2800 card every turn with scout so you get constant damage, and bad reaction can be destroyed through tributing helix

Can you explain why most good players can win mirror matches nearly every time then? How come I could crush Dragon Rulers in their prime with rogue decks? If it wasn't for the fact the players sucked, there is no way any rogue deck could have beaten such an overpowered deck without maining Imperial-Iron Wall and Vanity's Emptiness. If the game doesn't take skill into account, then I wonder how the best players top every time.

Well, it is true that Yu-Gi-Oh isnt a skill based game. I mean, it was originally designed for Kids. And there are a lot of decks, you can very easily play with. Although, building the perfect deck based on your own personal strategy is quite hard. A burn deck might seem really simple, but look at it closely, and youll see that it actually follows a Genius strategy. Im playing Dark Worlds at the Moment. It is a solid strategy that works fine with me. Plus, the deck is cheap.

Soraking007 While I play mostly rogue decks (Ninjas, Inzectors, Gishki, Synchrons, Six Samurai, GK) to name a few, I strongly disagree. Bujins and Evilswarm are no longer meta (far from it) and take "no skills" (in the sense that they don't allow a player to make plays/combo/misplay/think). Satellar knight is an exemple of meta deck that is straightforward and easy to play. But if you give a pro player a 40 card Satellarknight deck and you give a random player at your locals the very same deck. The pro player would win nearly all the matches. Not only that but deckbuilding is an important skill to have and good player tech in some interesting cards in "meta decks" to have an edge or fit the flavor of the day. Saying meta decks don't take skills when tele-DAD and Goat Control were both meta at some points is unfair and reflects a lack of understanding.

Dat Logix i was actually talking weird decks like banish rider/djinn of ritual rider, mokey mokey(the ones you mentioned are strong and were meta, but not meta anymore because they have lost a lot of their speed due to a lot of limiting of a lot of their set pieces.) im talking decks that will never be meta but are actually so fun to play like djinn of rituals banish riders.

You can counter the deck, by playing fiendish chain / book of moon or mystical space typhoon (if bad reaction is out) while your opponent is activating his gift cards. This buys you a lot of time.

The one card i use to beat Burn decks is Black-Winged Dragon. Just leave it in DEF and just Sit there with it. Unlike LADD it keeps going after it hits zero. Plus being a generic lvl 8 synchro makes it pretty easy to summon by most deck nowadays.

For example if you get hit with damage first (Aka cannon) that applies then prime then bad reaction/nurse. however the gain has the inverse, where nurse/reaction applies first then prime. I i knew i was going against this deck first with Chaos drags (love the deck even if it isnt meta anymore) i would have prime first and just go for OTK since you can steamroll so hard with that deck with sheer brute force

I really have found that Dark Worlds can take a shit on this deck if they can get to Grapha quickly enough. Because all they have to do is pop your Nurse or your Simochi and you've got loads of dead cards. That, Eradicator, Skill Drain, MST, Fiendish Chain, Compuls...you'd best take them out by turn 2 or 3 unless they get a really bad hand. Hell, with Dark Smog, you can discard Grapha during your /opponent's/ turn, so they can pop your Simochi/Nurse AFTER you chain all of your other cards if you've got a Cardcar D or a Nurse in the Grave. I built this deck to test it with and haven't been able to win all that often against my personal DW deck. There are just too many answers in the deck.

there are a lot of hand traps that u can chain so that u wont take any effect damage that turn, also prime material dragon (would create a loop, so you couldnt activate anything that does damage or gives lp) and des wombat for cuntinuous effs. decree, trap stun. Rainbow life or nature reflection or somthing like that. chainable stuff in case of nurse (book of moon, fiendish and so on) jinzo for the win :D

what you want to do against that deck is wait for your opponent to activate lets say gift card and even better chain one-outta three or another gift card and then fiendish chain/compuls/veiler nurse or mst bad reaction. Not only have you stopped your opponent from dealing damage, but you have also gained a bunch of LP whihc makes it a lot more difficult for him to take you down.

Naturia Beast wouldn't stop everything in your deck (though stopping the draw power could be pretty potent), a decently timed Barkion would be a lot scarier if they have some graveyard setup, because then your burn traps would do nothing. :o Of course, Royal Decree and Trap Stun help. The only other cards that people might play currently that would help would be something like Gorz. Prime Material Dragon would laugh at you too though, but who the heck plays that currently? :o

Frognarchs would be able to beat this deck depending on what they drew. As a player with one Jinzo Main decked and two Side decked I could draw into that and stop the shenanigans. Gorz is a card, as well as Caius to banish Nurse, so if they get even a decent hand off the bat, it's gonna be bad. Even LADD would hurt alot

Justin Flagg Infinite loops are illegal in yugioh. If you summon prime material, its fine, but then if someone activated a card to burn or heal up, the activation would result in an infinite chain and therefore it is an illegal move. Because they are both continuous (nurse and prime dragon) you can't activate the card to heal up/burn.
