Congratulations Sharks, the better side and deserved the win. As for my beloved Gloucester, I don’t know. The wheels came off 18 months ago and then the amount of injuries in the tail end of last season, the form has carried on into this (in the league at least). I feel Skivington went away from what got us the 5th place in 21/22 and has lurched from one thing to the next, and we have lost an identity. JB said it best on the pod, ‘Gloucester don’t do anything well’. I think stability in the club is needed, so I wouldn’t be up for chucking the whole lot out and stating again. But maybe an older coach from somewhere like the Saracens coaching tree, with winning pedigree somewhere in the set up would be a good thing. I had a fun night, not the result I wanted but hey, used to it by now. One more thing, that stadium is seriously impressive.

Remember that the Sharks finished top 8 in the URC last year and should have been playing in the Champions Cup instead of in the Challenge Cup, if not for the Welsh sympathy rule ... so it was some justice that they won this and will play in the Champions Cup next year. The Sharks scored some incredible tries today. And I can promise every rugby fan that they wouldn’t have done that if they didn’t have a dominant scrum. The scrum itself may not be entertaining but people fail to realise that it is a huge foundation to play positive rugby off, whether through playing the backline or off of a penalty. Scrums=points and tries.

Yes, I’ve noticed this. We seem incredibly naive in this area. I thought Carreras was ok under the high ball in the first half, but after that collision in the second half his head dropped. Officials need to do more to rigourously police the offside line and ensure that the rush defence doesn't finally complete the game's seemingly inexorable transition to Rugby League. Like the Sharks, Gloucester were also missing important players, and both teams lack squad depth against the best. I understand, but when you establish complete dominance in a scrum, any small faults will result in immediate penalties. That’s how it’s always been, and I personally think it’s right. Gloucester were scrumming in all day long though, even the penalty they did get was because of turning in by the prop and should have gone the Sharks' way. Agree the Sharks are not great. What is mind boggling to me if a black player shows potential he is the next great while there are numerous white players who are superior to those black players but are never mentioned. Strangely enough those experts are in the majority white that makes these exaggerated comments. Please I am not saying that there are no good black players I am saying that equal or better white players are not even mentioned by these white experts. Are we living in a world of guilt and acceptance to the extent that we commit treason towards our own being?

The drop off from the startimg team and the bench in quality players is too massive. As soon as the the bench comes on we conceed tries... but othwrwsie well done Sharks!

Bitter sweet as a bulls fan.. Have a few mates and family members who will be insufferable for the next few weeks😂😂.. Who can we make fun off now?? 😂 Well done Sharks 👋😁. Makes sense why they are trying to depower the scrum though 😅
