I finally truly understand why Kevin does royalty deals. I use to think it was because he wanted to skim money off each sell, but it’s not. When he goes into business with someone he wants a reason to be involved. With royalties he always has a reason to try to help them sell more. And so he likes deals where there is a great product but people are weak in sales because where he adds his value and makes his money.

not exactly, royalty protects you from potentially losing all your money, a lot of these start-ups may never distribute net profit so the only way to get the money back is through an exit, and that is very risky because it's' time frame. royalty is a downside protection.

If any of those sharks actually fished before they would know how often you break off lures and bait. In the wrong place you can lose two or three in one day. No one's going to spend that kind of money for something that could be used one time before it's lost. Also a lot of areas have prohibitions against any kind of powered artificial bait

The by far biggest issue with these is the abysmal battery life. Fishing is something you do for hours and hours. If it only lasts an hour for the medium size one, that is pretty awful. Edit: It is hilarious how many simps for this company keep trying to argue, ya'll are fighting for your lives, but it's keeping me entertained ;)

@@innerlight4601 It won't be a huge amount, but sure, by some it might. But still though, fishing is something you do for hours regardless of how many you catch. And remember, they said it only lasts for 40 catches-worth, so realistically 30, before you'd need a new lure. It's just not the greatest product.

Yeah it's right in line with most good lures. I don't ocean fish but have done deep fresh water. I paid 60 for a silicone swimmer about a ft long once. The small ones here, most good quality swimmers are around $20 so ultimately they're only about $10 over most others in the quality category that swim. What makes theirs different is the mechanical swim instead of water current swim.
