It's not just about physical businesses; digital investments like stocks can be very beneficial for making your money work for you. By spreading investments across different asset classes like bonds, real estate, and international stocks, you can reduce the impact of a market meltdown. Robert is getting TWICE the amount of shares for the same dollar other investors got. And Robert made clear it is just purely monetary deal, and to not expect any other help from him. Then Robert got greedy and asked for 15%. That is THRICE the amount of shares he wants. is his dollars 300% more valuable than other investors? That would be grossly unfair towards existing investors. If I was an investor, I would be angry at her. And now remember those other investors invested long ago. And this company is growing at insane speed. So, Robert was basically asking like 600% premium over other investors.

She had a good (not great but good) pitch, actual sales, and a reasonable evaluation of her business and all she got was a pity offer with no room to negotiate. They even made her uncomfortable and have her try to cry on national television.

Robert is so infuriating, I advise anyone goes there not to take him seriously.

Have you seen the Canadian version Dragon's Den? He becomes entirely useless if there is a puppy in the pitch. I love it. There is a specific clip when he is literally running around, carrying the puppy, making the puppy wave at other Dragons. Too, too funny.
