People have no idea how difficult it is to launch an alcohol brand in a new category. The amount of money it takes. Proper 12 by mcgrgeor, Casamigos from George clooney, etc…all needed millions and millions of dollars to grow to the level they are at and they weren’t even in new categories. Alcohol is a STRICTLY branding and marketing game. Deepinder understood the risk and still have them a lot of money for an appropriate evaluation. Those 2 kids were just naive. Big fish in a small pond < Small fish in a big pond.
