Hydroponics farming is the future and for a country like India it is a boon, they need to work on making this technology affordable and reachable. The unfortunate truth that we Indians need to accept is that farming in India is still majorly done by less advanced technology. Other countries fare better in farming because of government support and the extensive research done on farming. Sadly this is not the case in India, rather than wasting time fighting in the parliament and increasing taxes, the government should aid more in research and developing farming technologies in a cost effective manner. There are many brilliant minds in India but because of no proper support and funding these minds either go to other countries where they help them because they are given the resources and funding to aid them or these brilliant minds eventually give up on their dreams.
