Nahhh Lyes saying his list is based off last 18 months and not even mentioning watkins is mental. Last year foden got 19 goals + 8 assists, this year he has 1 goal + 1 assist. As well as diaz not being rated let's be fair. caicedo and gravenberch is close but not that close. gravenberch this season has revolutionised our midfield this season and has made liverpool go from needing a midfielder (number 6) to not needing one because he's stepped up. yes caicedo has been great for chelsea but was brought in for 115 million to do that job. nobody expected ryan gravenberch who sat on the bench most of last season to take our midfield to another level and have us competing for the league . him and macaliister have been the best midfield partnership this season leading to our sucees and potentila title charge so the disrespect on these players names is astonishing. Macca is a proven winner and brings his intricacy in ability and passing to the team whereas gravenberch brings that tall lean versatility in a midfielder and their combination and control in the middle has led to us top of the league. now nobody cries out for a m,idfielder for liverpool because we have two of tghe best and they're showing in the performances they're putting out. I really do respect caicedo for the stats he's put up in terms of tackles, interceptions and just general breaking up of play but gravenberch does all but better and even showed us he could do a job against fulham at cb if needed. arne slot has really unleashed the both of these midfielders true potential so as much as i do love the vidsz and all and respect all the guys i have to disagree with gravenberch second and macallister not above bruno g

for me grav has to be number 1… he’s had 1 mid performance against newcastle where we was getting double teamed and we had no trent, konate or bradley, he’s dominated in the ucl too… he’s played 2x the amount of games as caicedo and we have conceded once in the ucl… he never gets rested and is the reason we have transformed defensively… our defence hasn’t changed last season, only the manager and the DM, gravenberch has completely changed our team and for me, has to be #1, that CB performance against fulham too… i couldn’t believe my eyes when i was watching him….
