as a liverpool fan the hojlund shout for flop is horror😭 just look at all the other united forwards and the numbers they put up he got more than all of them, then factor in the fact hes 21 and joined one of the biggest clubs in the world for 70m after one good season it’s been impressive if everything. Signings don’t always have to have an instant impact, like nunez for us i always said he could be bad until he’s 25 then we could get 5/6 good seasons out of him and he’ll be seen as a great signing. Very random comparison but we signed coutinho at a similar age to hojlund, granted for a much lower fee, coutinho was poor for a couple years then ended up being in the top 5 most expensive signings ever to this day, funding our success in following years

A good metric will be: (sum of point difference between the winner and 2nd place) ÷ (number of times won) Pep Premier League Era: (2 + 5 + 1 + 12 + 1 + 19) ÷ 6 = 40 ÷ 6 = 6.67 SAF Premier League Era: (11 + 9 + 4 + 2 + 6 + 5 + 10 + 18 + 1 + 7 + 4 + 8 + 10) ÷ 13 = 95 ÷ 13 = 7.31 Which means pep has won by an average of 6.67 points from 2nd place while SAF had 7.31. Am not having it when Utd fans say Pep's farming the league when SAF was actually farming the league during their hay days. What it implies is that Pep has had more competition only that at the end he has been able to come out on top while SAF farmed PL for 2 decades without much competition.

Fuads whole argument for Caicedo is stupid given that 2 minutes earlier he called Szoboszlai the flop of the season. Caicedo was shit for half the season and decent to good for the rest. Szoboszlai was one of Liverpool's best players up until mid December. Got Injured, came back and played amazing vs Chelsea, then got injured again. Overachieving club I feel like Wolves deserved a shout. Everyone I saw before the season had them struggling around relegation with their non-existent signings and overall turmoil surrounding the club. Losing Nunes at the start of the season. They did trail off a bit towards the end of the season, but they had almost no expectations going into the season and pretty significant inujury absences with Cunha, Hwang, Neto all out for the last portion of the season when they also did not have much to play for.
