To be fair, the order was Chelsea vs Arsenal (biggest game of the weekend) Brighton vs Man City (upset, big ramifications on the title race) Ipswich vs Spurs (another upset) Compared to these, the other results are quite standard. Liverpool vs Villa is a pretty big game but it was a pretty standard 2-0 win at the end For United, you expect them to win against Leicester. I think the order was fair.

THANKYOU, we liked amorim and interviewed him but he was very stubborn in his 3-4-3 formation so we didn’t get him in cus it would require too much change in the summer, we had slot in mind who played the same formation as klopp and similar football so we chose him. No way people really believe he’d turn us down but go to united in both of our current states😭

Complete lies about Slot being 3rd choice. Alonso said himself LFC didn't speak to him. Paul Joyce (LFC's Ornstein) came out and said they only manager offered a deal was Slot. Amorim weren't even in the picture, which is why he flew to West Ham to beg for a job.

Cams is right, certainly at this moment. Shankly took a team in LFC languishing in the second division, got us promoted, rebuilt the connection between the fans and the team, and won us our first league in a while. Taking over from him was Bob Paisley, who in 7 years won 4 league titles and 3 European cups. Right now, history looks like it’s repeating with Klopp who came in, rebuilt the relationship between the fans and the team, rebuilt the ethos and mentality around the club, then handed it off to Slot who’s taking the tactical/coaching side of it through with the base that was put in place by Klopp and elevating it further. Should history repeat, or even come close to it, LFC is looking at an immense decade ahead of them. It isn’t likely as football isn’t as merit based as it once was, but success can breed fortune can breed further success, so we’ll see what happens.
