This game changed a lot in the past few years, it's now in a playable state with things to do, and the next update will add combat. Would love a series of it! The game is more of a life simulator than a farming sim since farming is a minor activity in the game--I believe the best aspect of the game so far is being able to manage businesses and hire employees in a world where everyone ages. If anything, I can't wait for the feature that allows you to have kids and play as them.

Gonna sound odd, but my mom used to grow a few strawberries (erm...that isn't the odd part. Growing strawberries is pretty normal). She always plants some marigolds near the strawberries because it repels some of the bugs that like to eat the berries before they are ripe. Does nothing for the birds, of course.

@@anaalves5371 the game is fun and all. I love the new update but it didn't give me any reason to stay in the game. If you want to try something new, its worth the try. But if you are asking for my opinion, I will wait until its full released. Edit: when it comes to farming, it is small, like how it is, since the launched of the game.

I just checked the official website... So far it's only available for Steam and GOG (Good Old Games). They say that they would like to do a Nintendo Switch version but they are not planning for that right now. Same for the Xbox, PlayStation and Linux versions. It looks like the focus is getting the first game done.
