I typically avoid store bought pies in the US because they're all loaded with cinnamon and I can't eat it 😭 It makes me happy that I'd be able to eat these when I go to Japan 😊

I know some people can’t have cinnamon because they’re sensitive to it, but I’m one of those people who just can’t believe there are people who don’t like it. You could put cinnamon on a dirty sock and I’d be tempted to eat it. 😂

Haha when I was in Aomori a few years ago we saw a cat sitting in front of that bar and that made us be brave enough to go in with our limited Japanese and everyone was so friendly!!

Chris made the right choice! That Sapporo ume soure is absolute the best. I braught me two cans from Japan home and I hold on to them like a tresure. Don't know, if I will ever open them, wich is kinda stupid I know, but this is not available here in Germany. So I wait for the right moment. 😅

The pokemon on the manhole cover was Passimian (from Alola region aka Hawaii) with Rockruff (also from Alola region) and Geodude.

Awesome adventure. We will be going to Aomori in March so this a great preview. A factory looks like a place to go and nebuta museum. We went to Sendai in July thanks to Ryotaro and Abroad in Japan. Thank you for the great info Aloha.

I cannot believe how aesthetically pleasing the stores are in Japan. A factory looks awesome! Anemorie (probably typo, sorry) city looks beautiful. I would love to visit one day. You can't go wrong with apple pie. cinnamon is actually good for regulating blood sugar. I can't believe there's a tony roma's there. I have no idea what there's a Tony roma's here in south florida. This is a restaurant I would most likely visit if I went out with my family. it's always nice to visit different parts of Japan. Thanks to Sharla and Chris's vlogs. Thanks guys much appreciated. 😄👍

We used Hachinohe as a jumping off point to go explore the area, like Towada-ko. The coastline nearby is spectacular, as are the mountains inland. Regretfully didn't make it to Aomori city, but did manage to check out the area to the south. I really love these videos, it's like being on another trip!

I lived in Kuji, Iwate for four years from 2000-2004, and we had a little local bar in town in some guy's garage where he also made nose flutes. He'd let us play them. They sounded better the more drinks you had 🙂

I just came back from Aomori a few weeks ago! Got so many apple snacks, ciders, etc. from A-Factory and had a yummy apple juice with beer from the cafe downstairs. Definitely will go back to Aomori.
