She is so expressive at that time and also when she and Shiva are at her friend house and next day she is telling Shiva that they cannot get married that perfect execution of the scene by Sharmin Segal Mehta. She is a fine art example. She is marvelous and excellent even in Heeramandi. Why stupid people are trolling her. acting. Both clips were not part of a scripted roast, they were from unscripted interviews. The Netflix Roast does not have any lines about someone acting like a school girl or being an outsider. Secondly these clips aren’t out of context, people have watched the entire interview. If anything, she spoke out of turn. No one asked her to respond to Sanjeeda’s “perfectionist” comment, which was in fact complimentary and it is apparent that everyone is caught off-guard by Sharmin’s butting-in then. Aditi was asked a very specific question in an interview and Sharmin took offence to the fact that she was called out for not being punctual. Her reaction to that was disproportionate and misplaced again. It doesn’t matter what your equation with someone is behind the scenes, if on-camera you’re constantly talking out of turn and trying to belittle (very experienced) actors by reducing them to mere “outsiders”, that’s neither friendly nor very roasty. If her PR team had actually advised her correctly they would ask her to take stock and take some onus for how she’s coming across. Instead she’s only blaming people’s perception of her. Impact matters not intention. You can put all the dressing you want on your “salad”, respect the fact that some people actually cut their own vegetables and have perfected the art of cooking a good meal, and simply shut up when you have nothing relevant to add to a conversation.

People have to pen down a whole essay explaining someones character and role. Acting itself should be self explanatory ma'am/sir. You don't need to sit and convince the audience what actually the character is. One should speak with the eyes. Chalo...this girl wasn't able to speak with eyes..excused. At least she could have used her facial expressions to convey the emotions. A lil girl in laapata ladies shows the way, what a pain looks like, when her husband is missing. And here alamzebs finance has died, n yet her expression was..🌚. Get a life man. n try to support who actually deserves it. Indians love art and artists. It's in their blood. U don't need to teach the audience what a fine role playing is.

Sharmin don't get me wrong but you need to give a rethink about your PR personel and manager. This stunt will backfire. Should have kept quiet till your next release and then could have talked about it. Feel sad for this girl who is falling because of her own people. For one time let's us all think this interview of yours was in a good light but, should have atleast thought about your attire. It's too casual . Not at all suitable for this interview. Sanjeeda was asked how it was working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, she replied by saying he is a perfectionist. This entitle human jumped in with a "I know it all" smirk and interrupted by saying whoever calls him a perfectionist is an outsider. Same with calling Aditi a schoolgirl. Not during a roast, but during legit interviews.

The only conclusion of all the drama is, Sharmin is not suitable for alamzeb's role. SLB and Sharmin have to accept it, APOLOGISE to the co-stars publicly as she insulted them publicly. All she had to do was say look sorry, it wasn’t my intention to come across as mocking my co-stars and calling a self-made, hard working tv actress like Sanjeeda an outsider, but if that’s how it’s came across then I apologise. I will be more careful in the future. But all she did was make excuses for her behaviour and justify it. She also refused to acknowledge her privilege and SLB’s niece and that it was that fact which made people so angry, that she was handed this golden opportunity most outsiders (more talented and deserving) would never get. In fact more than Sharmin I blame her uncle. He set her up for a fall by putting her with a group of incredibly talented actresses. He knew Sharmin couldn’t match up to them. Was he that blinded by his nieces love or was he deliberately trying to sabotage her🌚😂

If you watch it again with positive lenses to see Sharmin Segal Mehta then you will notice that her character was of a innocent girl who never stepped out of that world so I think she maintain that innocent on her facial expressions and on her dances because they are showing her that she never wanted to be part of that world so she never liked wearing jewelry etc. she never learned dance so first time when she was forced into the mess her innocents shows on the screen. I THINK SHE DID GOOD JOB. In the Malaal movie: - I LOVED her scene at the ocean front with Shiva, her acting was superb. She is so expressive at that time and also when she and Shiva are at her friend house and next day she is telling Shiva that they cannot get married that perfect execution of the scene by Sharmin Segal Mehta. She is a fine art example. She is marvelous and excellent even in Heeramandi. Why stupid people are trolling her.

How can she fault the algorithm when actual living people are the ones who singled her out based on her behavior from the entire cast of more than 10 people. Fardeen khan also lacked any emotive capacity but he did not give rude interviews despite being a nepo product. Yes there are trolls who are excessive with their nasty comments but there are also those who are very objective with what they had observed. Her body lingo doesn't lie. It really showcased her dissatisfaction for some of her cast members. I also think the others mainly tolerated her and wasn't fond of her. Let's hope this is a wake up call for her. Just cause she is the niece of SLB doesn't make her invincible. Anyways everyone deserves a second chance so let's give her the benefit of the doubt and see her change for the better. Note to her family and friends, you have made her think shes flawless, thats why she is so arrogant. Her mamoo probably knew she lacked what was needed, but he cast her anyway, maybe thinking his reputation would fool ppl into thinking shes a great actress. So many of the interviews i watched pre the release of Heeramandi were too focussed on actresses talking about SLB and how great he is. The fact that he cast his niece, who was in no way talented enough, makes him lose his credibility in my eyes. If he values his reputation he should leave her out of series 2. She is saying she has to act according to what the writers and director ask, meaning she is blaming them for her wooden performance. 100 percent delusional.
