@Sharmins_Kitchen3 жыл бұрын
Yes, hun it’s very rich in flavour. Its like mint if you freeze it, it will turn blackish but that’s just that some things tends to oxidize when frozen. Fine thyme when frozen changes it’s colour too✌️❤️🇬🇾🇨🇦

I suggest you use the blackeye peas water that you boiled it in instead of using plain water. Aĺl the nutrients of the peas is in the water. Eliminate the casareep thats for pepperpot and probably stews. Just try that method and you will see the diffetence

What u use to get the coconut milk
@Sharmins_Kitchen4 жыл бұрын
Martin Stewart I have a Omega Juicer that I used to juice the coconut. If you are interested in getting one let me know and I will send you the link. If not get the fresh coconut break it and take it out of the shells and cut it in small pieces and blend it in some water. A food processor can work too but you will have to squeeze the milk out after. Please let me know if you have more questions ✌️❤️

@@Sharmins_Kitchen --Just to let you know, that I made cookup last night, keeping your recipe in mind.( that was the reason for watching the vid) And it was the best cookup i have ever had. Three things i have done differently this time were..(1) adding cookup seasoning (2) adding butternut squash,(3) And I think the casereep made an impact too. But anyways, I was happy to find out ( from you) about the butternut. Becuz I still have a load of butternut squash from my last summer garden. One other way to use them. Thanks and cheers
