Think it’s difficult to understand unless you’re a parent yourself. Even if your child has done something wrong, you will always naturally want to protect and defend them as a parent. That is what Karen is doing with Keanu. She’s not letting him get away with everything. It’s more maternal instinct.

Eastenders needs a revamp very quick get better writers in or am afraid eastenders will sink ..
