@@Stephen-kx8fz Noooooo!!! I mean, I think you may be right, but goodness, I really hope not. It’s too late in the year to be switching out queen and such, so I guess I’m just going to go through winter and joe they make it. 🤞 If they do, I’ll try and correct it in the Spring. One thing I have noticed with this hive is that they seem to like dumping their dead on this side of the follower board rather then drag the dead out of the hive from the front, and I hadn’t cleaned out the area in like a month and a half. I’m heading into the hives tomorrow, so I hope I don’t find a ton more, and more of a natural die off of bees. Ugh…they sure do keep you on your toes. 😅

@@LuckyCrownHoney if it is CBPV it can be passed onto the other colonies if you're not careful. So clean your hive tools between colonies and consider using gloves that are washable. Washing up gloves work well. I wear disposable gloves over my Beekeeping gloves. Hopefully they will recover. Good luck

It’s a bit too late I feel like for avoiding transmission to the other colonies if that’s the case, as I’ve been using the same tools and gloves since the beginning of the season. And also we used a frame of brood from this hive to another hive. Eek! I guess I’ll just have to keep an eye on it and hope they recover. Thanks for the comment and tips! 🐝❤️
