What I never understood was how Zoe was so willing and desperate to keep hold of him even after he'd told her he loved Sharon and not her. Absolutely ridiculous, I felt ashamed for her.

SenoritaTorres1 She had a very low self esteem and if you look back at all of her love interests... Jamie, Anthony, Dennis... they were all taken or with someone else. I think she deliberately self-sabotaged and there’s a lot more analysis on her character during the episode “Zoe Slater Revealed” and the actress who played Zoe explains how Zoe chose men who could never love her back and weren’t able to give her what she needed on purpose.

Oh this was back in the day when Eastenders was brilliant. The scenes between Sharon and Dennis was brilliant. The chemistry they had. Oh how I miss these two. Dennis the hard man but u get them little glimpses of Dennis just wanting to be loved. Sharon loved him. I loved these two. The ultimate hard man how his voice changes when he says “was it a lie” Bring him back come on. You brought Den back. So surely find a way and let him rescue Sharon xx

@Abbie Hazel Florence Hunter I'm sure she loved Grant just as much when they got married in 1991 or 92. And same with Phil when they married in 2014 and she cheated on them both. She loved her dad, Den, so much that she turned into him, a cheating piece of shit.

But his son with Sharon is gone now. It would have been better before. But they did bring kathy back. Anything's possible. I didn't agree that she'd cheat on Dennis like she did grant and Phil. She loved Grant but Phil not so much. Grant abused her and Phil wasn't that hot by the time she married him. Keanu was young and good looking. Dennis and her were soulmates. She wouldn't have cheated on him. They could bring him back and say he was in hiding. But their son isn't there anymore
