Even though Dennis and Sharon are my all-time favorite EE couple, Grant and Sharon are tied with Mel + Steve as my second favorite. Ross Kemp and Letitia Dean had great chemistry, Grant never got over losing Sharon (he confessed many times that she is his true love), + together they defined that classic period in the 1990s when EastEnders was all about the Mitchell era.

J Crash Actually, EastEnders went downhill went Grant left. I personally don't care if you didn't like him, because many of the viewers and the writers - including Tony Jordan - loved Ross Kemp playing him. I didn't like SharonGate + never found Sharon's fling with Phil appealing.

never a fan of sharon with grant or phil (i admit sharongate was great) but for me that is where those 3 should have ended for me sharron/dennis phil/shirley and my fav grant/tiffani and the chemistry between ross kemp and martine mccutcheon was undeniable i could be wrong but didnt grant say that tiffany was the love of his life he just did not realise it till now

rogersnip you can’t seriously believe Tiffany was the love of grants life? They spent several years establishing it was Sharon, the writers themselves confirmed it, grant even said this enough to Tiffany’s face, that line is used for dramatic effect (where she finds out about the affair). I can’t fathom why you’d like Tiffany and grant together he was so horrible and abusive to her, viewers were never meant to root for them as a couple god knows why you would want to. I also think Tish and Ross had far more chemistry.

There was a point where she said she wished she'd stayed married to grant and had kids before Dennis. After she loved Dennis, she realised he was the love of her life and grant wasn't anymore. But yeah, for a long time her and grant were really in love. Grant married a woman called Carla after Tiffany. She didn't love him. Sharon standing behind the bar and grant there and it must have brought back memories. Bittersweet like what would have been. But Dennis knew Sharon loved him. Grant was her past. And her and Phil only got married after many other relationships. It wasn't true love. Maybe Dennis can come back
