Meke James not sure if you watched her on RPDR but she was a lot more put together on the show. I was a bit surprised during this interview how the wig line was showing and the sideburn, all that. Her runway looks on Ru's show were very Italian Vogue and darkly sophisticated. She never took anybody out on her way to the top and decided to just nail every challenge like a winner is supposed to, all while being herself. Some wonder why her opponent Phi Phi O'Hara didn't take the crown as she is a more "glamorous" queen but I don't think Ru wanted someone with an attitude like Phi Phi representing his show. Chad Michaels is a timeless beauty who is very successful but by Sharon winning she was able to show that you can get ahead by being yourself and also confirm to herself that she can be loved the way she is.

Part of it is preference. Comedy or pageantry? But I get tired of hearing Rox and others say "where's the creativity?". Alaska dressing up in male drag IS creative, even if it was the wrong decision, because no one else came close to it. Holiday Monster, and skeleton! Detox dressed as a chicken, or has her makeup decked in all black and white, because sometimes there's beauty in what you omit. Rox was the most *conventionally* beautiful, but seriously, what was her most creative look?

I think the comments about the hairline or the lash or whatever these flaws are that some of you seem really bothered by are interesting. You're totally stuck in technique critique. That stuff really doesn't matter --except to people who don't know any better. I'm reading you. But not inviting a chat. I'll never read your responses so save your breath. Just google something like "Jacqueline de Ribes and Elizabeth Taylor" and look for the pic on Ari Onassis' yacht. Ratsnest. Watch a Russ Myers film. Catherine Deneuve. Punk Rock. etc. You people are freaked out and vomiting opinions and you know nothing but some freaked out, silly idea of every perfect hair in place illusion of retro gypsy whatever. I totally agree with you. And, since the actual episode, even I thought that Ru herself was being a bit close-minded about it. Drag isn't only female. The challenge was to make these characters. I thought doing boy drag was the smartest thing to do, I didn't even think she deserved to be judged that harshly on it. This is why, for my choice of winner, was Alaska. Roxxxy gave work. It does take a lot of creativity to do her tear-away outfits. Her makeup, after all, was and is the most abstract.

I mean, really. What happened was through the heat of the competition and loosing her best friend to a person who, at that point in time, thought wasn't as good as she is, along with $100,000. She cracked. No one was actually there with them, so no one knows how it felt. We acknowledge that it was wrong, but it wasn't even a conscious act. Those people are just making a fool out of themselves, legit.

Not throwing shade or anything, nor am I disrespecting anyone's drag. I'm an underground person myself, so I'm not going to judge in that manner, but I understood Roxxxy most of all throughout the competition. Roxxxy was no doubt, out of her ally throughout the competition and survived. Alaska went through with the strongest finishes ever, making her way to top 3 without lip syncing. Nina didn't lip sync also, but there wasn't 14 queens on her season. To me, Alaska and Roxxxy was cheated.

The one challenge where Jinkx was in Roxxxy's ally, she failed all three looks. Again, I'm not saying that Jinkx didn't work for the title. She did, and she worked hard, but Roxxxy worked also. And, Roxxxy was out of her ally. This competition is so hard; people judge out of nothing. Roxxxy gave everything and fought for this with blood, sweat and silent tears. At the end, her crush was sent home from someone who wasn't seen to her as good. Her snapping at Jinkx shouldn't be a surprise.

But, I can't blame you or judge who you like. If you like Jinkx, then you like Jinkx. Hell knows I did when it first started. She was probably my favorite queen. Checking though, other people really gave a lot more than she did. Come to think of it, up Jinkx's ally, an entire half the competition, she was out. ~Again, in her own ally. Judging Roxxxy's personality and calling her a bitch isn't right, though. That's the same thing they did to Jinkx. Die-hard Jinkx fans would understand.

Right. Well, again. Just like people ' judging ', Jinkx, they're doing it to Roxxxy also. Remember, Roxxxy isn't what she labeled a Comedy queen. Roxxxy's different. She works into her looks instead. Works her ass off. Judging her personality now, would be like Jinkx was judged. It's almost like a double standard. Now, it's almost not the look or work or anything, anymore. It's almost as if it's a competition for talking and who has the best thing to say. Creativity is where?

How was this a winner on RPDR? I wanted to like the concept & persona, but instead I kept hoping it was a set-up for an 'ambush' makeover. The interviewer from this clip did 'Goth' drag better than Sharon Needles... So NOT authentic in any way. But definitely VERY 99¢ Store-during Halloween. I've never had a specific interest in drag, but surely there's a more promising pool of participants. Somewhere.

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm going to miss Ms. Needles as reining Queen. Sorry Jinkxy, but this really wasn't the season for me. Every season, Ru claims that this iis the best season yet. I still stand my ground that season 3 was the beginning of everything, and season 4 still stands as the greatest season in Drag Race history. I honestly think that this ' consulting-the-viewers ', thing is hurting everyone. These noobs to Drag Race judge personality and stories, not actual talent.

I agree that it was wrong for her to put the labels on Alaska and Jinkx's drag, but seriously. Alaska was honestly, equally funny, if not more, and she killed each runway. I like your mind, though. The way you're thinking about this. Others are just running around on EVERY video of Roxxxy and calling her a man, and Boxxxy Mandrews and all sorts of things. These people claim ' Calling s bully a bully doesn't make you a bully '. Even Jinkx had to ask her fans to ease up on Roxxxy.

I don't think Willam was ever going to win the season - but her whole disqualification was shady to say the least. She certainly wasn't disqualified for the reason they said she was. Nevertheless, Sharon's win was totally deserved; and had it not been her, it would've been Chad.
