Vocally Beyonce is stronger but stronger doesn't always mean better, it all depends on personal taste and what you're in the mood for. I agree JLo for real came with the hair, the outfit, and lighting effects it’s just not cute. I wouldn’t even have done that especially since Beyoncé did it not too long ago. I could see if it was 10+ years ago but it was with in the last 4-5 yrs or so. Also to make matters a bit worse when Beyoncé got up there and preformed in that outfit with that hair she got backlash for being too sexual and JLO does it and it’s sexy and perfect(besides the copying backlash she received). Of course none of the stuff is original but at the same time she could have dont something different to put her own spin on it like Beyoncé did. I’ve not really been a fan of JLo because JLo has made a career off of black women their culture, the voices(Ashanti sang one of her songs), dances and etc. So seeing this I understand the backlash, just because of her relationship already w/ the black community is a bit shaky so seeing her do something that she has been doing isn’t sitting right with people.

@@mikaylaport2477 All these genres of music you have mentioned were created by back people, Hip hop, soca & salsa, salsa is a mixture of African dances fused with spanish, Samba originates from Africa, so If JLo as you say can dance to these genres of music Jlo has copied a lot of dance routines from Black people. I have seen her dance in all her music videos & I have never liked her dance styles, as I stated earlier her dance moves are too European for me to appreciate. As you rightly pointed out she an icon in the latin community but not in the black community. On her Superbowl dance they even danced with Shakari to song by a Congelese singer & they both copied dance routines from an African artists.
