Even after all of these years, my heart breaks for this mother. It is amazing how Doris Tate was able to channel her sorrow miraculously in to being a champion for victim's rights. The only light out of this tragedy was the family didn't lose a second daughter and Doris and her family didn't end up taking a nervous breakdown. My deepest respect to the entire family.

Doris Tate was the greatest mother ever. She came out with a roar after her beautiful daughter, grandson and friends were brutally murdered. I’ve always been a forgiveness person but the Manson killers should NEVER be released. The brutality of the murders is just horrible. They should not get out when they’re old/and or sick. Debra (Sharon’s sister) is the only one left to fight the good fight and I pray to God she outlives Krenwinkle, Watson and Van Houten. So much love and respect for Doris Tate 👏💕💕👏

What they did to her was unforgettable. I like that the family made certain that the murderers didn't get out. That was so vicious. I seen Sharon in movies when I was a kid, and I fell in love. She was a sweetheart.

Nicely done tribute to Sharon Tate and her family. I like the photos of Paul and Doris when they were young. They were a very nice looking couple. I especially like the photo of Sharon when she was a little girl, sitting on her father's leg and he has his arm around her. A very touching father and daughter picture. I can't even begin to imagine the heart ache and pain, that he and Doris went through, after their beautiful daughter was murdered.

How does a mother go on after the death of a child - and grandchild? Natural causes like illness are bad enough, but to have a daughter brutally murdered, along with her newborn baby, is unendurable. Every day Doris must have replayed in her head the terror Sharon felt when she knew that she and her baby were about to die. And the physical agony she endured as she was being butchered. One of her killers later testified that her last word, just as she died, was "mother." I don't know how Doris got up everyday and faced her life. God keep her. She and Sharon are together now.

I don't understand why the horrific people who committed the obscene murders that night are able to get married and have children in prison and Tex Watson is some kind of preacher in prison and they get all these comforts. American Justice system is a bit too much for the culprits. I'm not sure John Adams and Jefferson etc had these kinds of ideas when thinking about the future of the USA and the Justice systems future.

Its like they have more in prison than some poor folks in the free world, TV's, college degrees paid 4 in full, free room and board wtf......we all know it's not an easy thing to finance a college education & especially if u come from poor folks, you are on your own to make the best of it.....pisses me off to no end hearing the perks they get after brutally murdering people.....nice justice USA
@geslinam97034 жыл бұрын
elisabeth dakak believe me, the average American is also horrified at this. The idea is that prison takes their freedom, and that is enough punishment. I also believe it varies from state to state. I’m not saying we should go back to solitary confinement and tiny cells or chain gangs...but I do think it’s disgusting that they can have conjugal visits, get a college education, etc. The American people aren’t insane and depraved, just some parts of our government are.
@geslinam97034 жыл бұрын
Janet Galofski my college education cost me approx $8000 at a community college. I work alongside people who had to have the “real” college experience and they get the same pay as I do - only difference is the mountain of school loan debt they are trying to pay off. We all have a choice in this country. Anyone can afford to get an education and better themselves.

I wish I was there to help them. I know that was their fate to die like that but as a human it was unacceptable. How could someone did something so horrific, so inhuman and so cruel like Atkins and Watson did to them. RIP to all the victims. May God bless Sharon, her unborn son, her family and friends. The first song, My Immortal, was played at my sister’s funeral. I have a huge amount of respect for Doris Tate. She was a force to be reckoned with. I wish she had never had to go through what she went through. She took her family’s horrific tragedy and used it for good. The daughter of high school friends of mine was r**** and redrumed at the age of 22 by someone who was supposed to be her friend. At the sentencing each victim gave a victim impact statement. I told my friend that it was thanks to Doris Tate that there are laws in all 50 states that allow victim impact statements. Like Doris my friend has taken their tragedy and used it for good. She started a non-profit that provides clothing and toiletries to those who undergo a s*xual a**ault exam so that after it’s over they can shower and have new clean clothes to put on. They also install trauma-informed soft interview room at police departments so that victims can tell their stories in a comfortable room with armchairs, lamps, blankets, rugs, artwork on the walls, etc. rather than in an interrogation room. Much thanks to Doris for using her tragedy to help others. RIP Doris, Patti, Paul, unborn baby Paul, Sharon, Steven, Wojiech, Abigail, Jay, Leno, Rosemary, Gary, and “Shorty”.

Sharon was vulnerable once she met and fell for the mysteriously talented Polanski. She then was then open to the polanskis friends like Frykowski. If she had a do over she could’ve changed so many things but hindsight is always 20/20.

Why do you refer to Debra as the "mean sister"? Do you know her, what makes her mean? It must be very hard to endure what she's (Debra) had to endure, and have people who don't know her make assumptions about her character.
@kathylloyd63269 жыл бұрын
It was on the basis of the expression to determine the "average sister". Since Sharon was the oldest, Debra was average and Patricia was the youngest. so it would look like. If you have a poorly received, know that it would have a different meaning.
@ddivincenzo19 жыл бұрын
+Kasia Kiara Very nice and well put together video, but the proper way to describe Debra's placement in order of birth would be to describe her as "the middle sister". Unless a person is mathematically inclined, your description of her as "mean" can be misconstrued.
@janetgalofski39965 жыл бұрын
I don't think Debra is mean at all, she is standing up for her sister keeping the monsters behind bars which they so RICHLY & RIGHTFULLY deserve!!!!! May they rot in hell after dying in prison.....
@marigold72504 жыл бұрын
Maybe you did not intend for it to have that meaning, but in English the word "mean" is not a good thing, and it seems an insult to Debra, who is a lovely woman. All you need to do is change the word' mean' to middle child. That would make your video a nice tribute to the whole family.

Unfortunately, after Doris' death, Debra and Patti did not get along. There was some sort of power struggle between them. They both tried to push each other out and take over. You need to read the book written by Patti's girlfriend after she died. It tells Patti's side. It also shows how narcissistic she was. Debra is also very narcissistic. Like all families, they had their issues. Doris was overbearing and Paul was never home. I'm not taking sides, I'm just saying that we shouldn't put these people on a pedestal just because Sharon was famous. There is a lot of information out there about them.

Paul Tate would do so immediately. However, despite the fact that Sharon's father was a military man was not as easy as you might think. Soldiers in the Army also have certain capabilities, and compliance with the rules treat as their sacred duty. We is not easy to draw conclusions and evaluate others, but the most difficult for us to understand that someone may have simply limited resources.

Paul Tate grew a beard and hair, he went in suspect areas and among criminals and drug addicts looking for any information that could bring him closer to the truth. Because the investigation for several months was in place , and the police did not have any specific information. So instead you utter such nonsense and accusations about Colonel Paul Tate , will lead to better something useful or you at least make sure that you have the basics , so to speak.

Manson did not appear a "madman" to anyone at this stage, Melcher simply rejected his music contributions in his job as a producer. Also, Melcher did not own the Cielo Drive home, he simply rented it before Sharon Tate and Polanski did. Please acquaint yourself with some facts.

Because in my opinion, you are measuring in the wrong direction - father of Sharon he would have gladly shot dead a hippie populace , but as a military and a U.S. citizen trust in United States courts , except that when he testified , he had through Manson and his gang , however, was and guarded the entrance to the courtroom revised if there is any fire-arms . So you do not say anything , and you're wrong , because the worst thing that hurts , it's your human stupidity .
