Dang it Sharon! I'm so sorry for your losses. I hope your dog's eyes are on the mend. All that and a hurricane to top it off. It's like icing on a horrible cake. Remember to take care of yourself too.💙

I love the tips you pass along in your videos. I have been making 5x7 cards for years while everyone was making A2 cards. I found you a couple days ago thanks to KZbin suggestion. I am addicted to watching your creations. Thank you for using pattern paper for backgrounds. You have inspired me to pull out all those paper packs and use them again. I have fun creating my own backgrounds and felt using pattern paper was not creative enough and a thing of the past. I love your advises, your tips, and your thinking outside the box. I appreciate you and thank God I came across your videos. Sending you blessings and my condolences to you and your family. Now that I found you I hope you continue to do videos for many more years to come. ❤❤❤

I Do appreciate your videos. I can follow your creative process. It always inspires me to try your design and techniques and gets me going on more. I will admit that I might be trying to case your card, but it rarely comes out the same. Lol. Thank you for your generous heart, sharing your cards and your brain.

I LOVE 💖that you case my cards AND you are welcome to make them as close as you like. It makes me feel amazing to know that I’m case worthy. Mimicking is how we learn, that should be embraced don’t you think?? I started my card making journey copying cards as closely as my supplies allowed…then I began wanting to add my own twist… and from there my skills grew enough that I can be inspired by the silliest of things like a shirt someone wore or how pillows look on a couch. Might be worth sharing that…what do you think😃🤗🤗💕💕

Hi Sharon, before I forget, I am so sorry about your recent family losses. 🤐 As always, your cards are spectacular. I always find it interesting to watch you not only create your flowers but how you arrange them as well. Not that I'm an expert by any means, but one thing I learned from back in my cake decorating days was to build a sort of nest of leaves and add the flowers on top. Thanks so much. 😊🇨🇦
@SharonLuska2 жыл бұрын
Cake decorating is definitely a great boost for creative cardmaking. You exercise so many of the same design muscles. I think a how to for arranging flowers on cards is a great idea. I have a playlist that groups all my flower videos..I’d love to hear what you think of them and if I should dust off any of them for updating. Thank you for your kind words too Brenda 💕💕🤗

Hey there! For your ink smooshing, yes it is my favorite technique…. You want to make sure you are using a silicone mat. You will know it is silicone if you spray water on it, the water will bead up a lot…. If it does not bead up it is not a true silicone mat. And add about at most 2-3 sprays from your water bottle, the more water you add the more of a watercolor look you will get…. Let me know if you have any other questions!
@SharonLuska2 жыл бұрын
You’re an angel. Thank you so much🤗🤗I have silicone mats🎉🎉 had no idea that would make the difference. Now I feel like a ninny for not just asking you. I’ve watched you do it over and over and always thought why can’t I do that😫 I’ve even gone as far as making it along with you on video and it turned out horrible for me. I’ll let you know how it goes😉😃🤗🤗🤗💕💕

Sorry for your losses Sharon. It seems like when you need one sympathy, then another , then another.... and you wonder when it will stop...... Your cards are so pretty. I am going to try this technique with the flowers. I just recently purchased the "with Sympathy" die set from Picket Fence.... I love it.... A7 cards or slimline. I always love your sympathy card .... they give me inspiration.... Thanks you so much..... will be looking for your next video.....🥰🥰🥰🥰

Hi Sharon! I am so sorry for the family losses that you have recently suffered. 😔🤗🥰My heart is with you! TYSM for all of the creative inspiration and tips that you always provide! I have said this before and will continue to say, you are such an inspiration to me and so many others and I always learn something new that I never knew or thought about! I cannot wait to create my own version of this lovely card! BTW, I laughed when you mentioned people that spray in the cardboard box... you using the salad clear container to utilize the extra spray for other backgrounds is BRILLIANT! You continue to be an inspiring "Crafty MacGyver"! :)

Sorry for your loss Sharon. There you go again, helping us to think outside the box and find new ways to use our dies. I recycled so many of those salad boxes and kept a foil turkey pan for my spraying! Next salad box I get, I will recycle right to my craft room! :)

Sorry for your loss. I think with ink smooshing, ...on a non-porous surface,#1 just press ink pad in same spot no need to swipe. #2 try a little more water. #3 Use a piece of acetate to pick up ink and water and press into your cardstock (you can try watercolor paper too). When you pick up the acetate, use 2 hands so the acetate is kind of a shallow "u" shape..Let me know if it helps

Just came across your channel today! It always takes me a lot of time figuring out where the leaves look best too. For your last card, I would suggest 2 more leaves for a total of 5 to round it out. Thanks for sharing and I love how many cards you make in one video! Oh, and I subscribed :)
