There are so many great memories from that time I could write a book but I'll just share one memory that makes me laugh when I think of it. Most of you know I've been building a Gnome Home since 2014. I write stories, take pictures, and most of the time I'm living in that world. I guess you could say I'm a bit of an eccentric but #LifeIsGood I was building one day in the Gnome's home when Jordan's face lit up like a lightbulb and he was completely serious, "MA! I found the perfect husband for you! You should marry Radagast the Brown. You guys would be perfect together!" Let's think about this a bit shall we, Radagast is an eccentric wizard living in a wonky house in the forest. He's a protector of animals and is a friend to the birds. He travels by way of sleigh pulled by 12 Rhosgobel rabbits. Yup! That sounds about perfect to me, my boy, a match made in a magical forest! ❤❤❤ That day I decided I would eventually make a mini Radagast just for sweet memories sake. I'll never forget his face all lit up when he said that to me, I giggle every time I think of it, it's the way he sees me! And yes, I would totally live in that house. #TrueLoveForever

Thank you so much! I really appreciate that feedback. It sounds so cheesy but mistakes really are wonderful things that teach us so much. Years ago I would stress over those mistakes but I've grown quite fond of them, especially when building trees because fixing those adds so much more character to the finished tree.

I was watching an earlier video of yours where you were building a tree using a bunch of small boxes. In the introduction video you stated that you used to make castles out of dressers, I think if you made a series of castle videos it’d be cool. Sharon, all I can say is this is awesome. You were the first person I dared follow a video and I made several of your animal amigurumi and I fell in love with your teaching skills boy did it work for me. My favorite was an inspired character of a story about a forest and trees I can't remember the name but I was so proud of you and me because your voice and teaching made it possible for me to complete the project from beginning to the end. With that being said this video is something I want to try and when I do I will be sharing so you can see my take on this. So glad I once again bumped into you.❤❤❤❤

He is magnificent! Your attention to detail such as his cheek position when he smirks is incredible. I so excited to see your idea about the yarn "fluff"...it is perfect! We all have our favorite tools to use and for me it was an x-acto knife. After watching ton's of videos during COVID, I saw so many artisans using ball tools for everything from painted mandalas, curving flower petals and FIMO faces. I can't remember exactly what it was that I was doing that made me decide to order a set but I did. Now I have about 10, in a variety of sizes and I LOVE them!! They are incredibly easy to use and I have never been an artist who has to have a lot of tools. Like I said, I could smooth a surface with an X-acto so why have a separate tool? The ball tools have really been a joy to have. They are excellent for eye sockets, noses, cheeks and general modeling. I think you would really enjoy having a set.
@WhereTheGnomesLive3 жыл бұрын
thank you so much, I really appreciate the suggestion. I actually have a couple of them, they are wonderful when working with clay for sure. I haven't yet tried the ball on paper towels though, maybe next time I'll try it. I use a pointy tool so that I can move the material around easily, I need to be able to poke at it and drag it. Paper towel details will never be as smooth as clay when dried that's just part of the deal when working with that material, lol but with that said, clay can be used instead of the paper towels when you get to that step. Thanks again, I truly appreciate it. Happy crafting!
