Filmed two times: one with focus on Sharon ending with both two opposite each other. One shot with focus on Angel without Sharon, ending on the exact same place. If you look closely the sky darkens a bit on the part of Angel once the two videos merge.
@cavalrycome3 жыл бұрын
@@bremzen4777 The aspect that I find impressive is that they managed to end both camera movements with exactly the same frame. Even if they had some kind of robotic slider to do that, it would be very hard to do. I suspect the shots were actually cropped slightly so the editor could align the pixels perfectly in post. It does appear that Sharon's side of the frame is extended and feathered across the seam at the end of the camera movement. It's surprising how well that worked, though because Angel's side appears to have been filmed a few minutes earlier when there was still some direct sun skimming the ground and also highlighting her hair.

This song is about a break up and all the things you used to do before you met that person. You were anxious, you were lonely; 'Waiting inside, avoiding crowds', those things that totally disappeared when you were in love... But it's also a reflection on all that comes to be missed when you're in a relationship. 'Making out long' for exemple, represents such a special moment in time shortly after you met that person, when you're burning for this lavish desire and tends to disappear after being together with s.o. for too long... 'Sell my past for a way to sing' that is such a lovely phrase that points out songs are built from our own past experiences.

🔥❤️🤘😮😍🎸🔥 Effing brilliant! Sharon van Etten you have GOT to be the most beautifully poetically inspiring Darling on the scene, you really need more acclaim. This duet, l hadn't felt something so profoundly moving since Peter Gabriel & Kate Bush's collaboration. So oceanic and and effulgent--l love how you (singular, plural) paint your pallette in such a strong manner that resonates with and transcends the geniuses of the past and present: The Cure, Aimee Mann, Springsteen, Dead Sara, Tori Amos... Yet you're always innovating and doing your own thing!! There's just this boundless treasure of own work!! ❤️❤️❤️ Jupiter 4, I thought I heard it all until this, l can't say enough about it. So beautifully pure, sensually honest. I feel like you manifests all the pain and struggles you've endured in your young life and you hit on a resonant level that just breaks your heart open. There's a vulnerability and also a gutter punk edge! Then there are also your covers--(that 2012 rendition of Stevie Nicks & Tom Petty, from her album Belladonna--😮🤯✊🤘) gives them a darkness and a radiance that just makes you stop in your tracks!! I'll never forget when l first listened to your cover of The Flaming Lips' 'Do You Realize?' I was in tears. I just went through a terrible unexpected loss, l lost my lovely little angel companion, a 12 year old doggie my Mom had whom l was taking care of after l had to put Mom into a dementia care facility. She missed her Mommy so much but then she bonded to me, turned out she had an undetected asymptomatic inoperable cancerous mass in her liver until it suddenly ruptured (damn l can't even even write it about it l tear up too much) and. Oh she gave Mom so many years of joy, she held out so long... THAT SONG, your rendition, just carried me through my bereavement like no other. Thank you Sharon!!! Keep on rockin' in the Free World, kiddo! ❤️🫂

My first time hearing this artist was during their late night show. I think it was the Jimmy Kimmel late show. I'm buying all five albums and more.

The first priority is Sharon's, " Are We There?", album.....earlier &. following stuff is brilliant...but this is perfection........
