Do you think you have ever damaged a component with too much heat while soldeing? With all the warnings , it seems near impossible to damage silicon parts with basic hot air station. Perhaps you can make an interesting video and seeing how much heat destroys different components. 500 set temp on heat gun over main ics for 5 minutes would not damage them is my guess.
