@TEVTV, @4:28 Time Stamp, Thank you for you're, 220 OHM, 20 Watt's, Discharge, info from Previous video, its good practice to include the Discharge Info in your Video's.... Be cool if you could Show how you Built youre Discharge Unit, and tips and Techiniques.... It would make a good General Safety Video, Regarding Capacitor Safety....For Us All... For My Discharge, I made a Discharge Rod, 1/8" diameter, 12"inch. long, out of Solid Brass, Rod... Installed/ Soldered a, 470 OHM, 5 WATT'S Ceramic Resister...and installed/Soldered, 3 ft Alligator Clip, Ground Wire.... To Discharge Cap's... Used lots of Shrink Tube, To Insolate Rod, and Resister, And Shrink Wrapped Resister, to 1/8" Rod, and Built it up to Double insolate the Whole Rod, for Safety..... Ground Down To a Tip, on One End of 1/8" inch. Rod, to a Point, for Touching to + positive Terminal of Capacitor, and Negative Grounding Wire Aligator Clip, Attached to Metal Grounding plate, where Power Board is Mounted to..... ✅NOTE: "ALWAYS UNPLUG, T.V. BEFORE DOING DISCHARGING, AND NEVER HAVE BOTH HANDS, IN THE UNIT, AVOID CREATING A LOOP, OR PATH THAT COULD LEAD TO HEART.....⚠️" Discharger Works Great.... Used my Fluke 88V, set to Volts, AC/DC, Mode, to Test Caps, after Discharging, to Comfirn that Caps, are Safe....only took 5-10 Seconds, time, to fully Discharge.... Thanks for youre Videos, and youre Wisdom....👍😎🇺🇲.

Damn, I wasn't that lucky with a 40" Samsung TV I've found on the side of the road. It has a shorted 3BR1065 that I can not find a replacement. Have you tried to use a normal DIP8 psu IC with an external FET (from some other brocken TV) to replace the 3BR1065 with? Would it work?
@tevzTVTevatronics4 ай бұрын
Will work with any fast recovery diodes.
