Sharp is very is incredibly charismatic, intelligent, arrogant, and a powerful personality. He doesn't recognize that he's actually very insecure. He has mastered the art of controlling the conversation. He projects his narrative and directs others to reflect it back. He's worked very hard to create the persona he embraces and it serves him well. He has the ability to help a lot of people but he is drunk on the stories he tells himself. I don't believe he is malicious or wishes to injur those around him. He is, however, loud and forceful with his words to avoid having to look at the parts of him that he doesn't want to acknowledge... He has an incredible degree and will. Those who do not agree with him, he dominates and those who agree with him, he showers with compliments. I believe he's a terrified human being who protects himself with his ego. Kudos to Mark for trying to break out of Sharp's narrative and question some of the things Sharp says. I honestly can't say that I would have been able to do the same. Sharp says he "ain' never told no lie". This a bold statement but it cannot be true. He criticizes others for using "the lifestyle" to create an image, while, when looking at his dress, he does exactly that himself. He says he doesn't care what others think but he strives greatly to make his opinion amd appearance known to others. He is an very bright man with a strong personality and Mark is correct, he will get to reach some really difficult place in life which will reward him well though I don't believe that they will make him happy

As a public HS teacher in an inner city, the resonance with: *”I’ll never be too much x for one crowd and too much y for the other... so, I think thats where I find my own happy medium”* as well as *”no one is willing to take the time to learn anything anymore”* are massively important messages for anyone on their life’s journey.

Being mixed I also resonate with the first statement. But I'm curious what did you take away from, "no one is willing to take the time to learn anything anymore" ? Even though I agree with this I'm not sure I understand it's importance to our life's journey.
@taylorious16933 жыл бұрын
@@bruce9222 I took that there's a visible commodification and willful acceptance of ignorance that's more present in hearts and minds today than perhaps ever before, coupled with a narcissistic entitlement complex that keeps people from putting in the proverbial 'seat time' to **actually get** the hard-fought acumen they claim/flex/represent having. Sharp is saying, in my estimation, that the collective 'we' is willing to keep themselves ignorant of the reality we're in, and signal or show 'virtue' or 'merit' in situational contexts instead of having the drive and personal humility to pursue actual, tangible, hard-won knowledge for an individual

Imagine if instead of paying and making money off sex we actually had conversations and truly tried to help one another. Also when he said he’s never been white enough for the whites or black enough for the blacks. So he went he’s on way. I’ve felt that way my entire life being half Mexican and half Caucasian. I used to know someone like this. He was extremely abusive to his girlfriend in front of everyone. He was not a good person, and the way he treated his girlfriend made my skin crawl. He would hit her and verbally abuse her, even in front of his own mother. But he was tall and good looking and every time I would see him, he would smile at me and talk so sweet and respectfully to me, I would momentarily forget how he actually behaved and the things he was capable of. I would smile back at him, and I always surprised myself. He would disarm me with his charm. This guy seems to have that kind of ability.

It’s called narcissism. He’s a narcissist or has many qualities of them. Their only attracted to the weak because strong women pay them no mind. Weak, sweet, gullible or innocent are their fix because of control. A parent has usually failed them during their childhood. Traumatic experiences create this personality. They appear so smart and profound how they manipulate their words and tone. I know this because I was in a relationship with a tall beautiful one. He was evil. Not long after I involuntarily left him (my family gave me an ultimatum )I studied psychology and went to therapy. Found out what it was all about. @@cj3126 he hasn't displayed a false sense of importance or portrayed himself to be better. So how is that narcissistic? Maybe it's just the perspective of his experiences? 🤣 you guys should be psychologists the way you hand out labels.

From Sharp’s interviews on here, to Sharp’s growth onto No Jumper and then… that most recent full circle interview w/Mark. Appreciate their talks and everything this platform offers! ❤️🙌

What a brilliant human Sharp is! Amazin' work you're doing, Mark, thanks for all of these intense, raw & honest interviews that shine a light on remarkable people whose voices & stories wouldn't usually be heard. Just watched Sharp interview you on his Podcast too, absolutely lovin' that postmodern twist, massive high-fives!

hes possessed by a demon. looks like a nasty one too. he was mocking Jesus almost this whole interview. "WHO HAS HAD A PERFECT LIFE MARK, WHO? WHO? WHO HAS NEVER DONE SOMETHING WRONG MARK? NAME A MAN WHO HASN'T HAD AT LEAST ONE FLAW?" Before this quote he was also saying things about all of us coming together as one, and separating the have's with the have not's. Sound familiar? Read up on the Book of Revelations for crying out loud. It's all in your faces. This demon is taunting you, and ofc they love it sadly.

I think it's amazing how many similarities that Sharp and Mark have in common but it comes out differently because Sharp personality is strongly compassionate and Mark is passive compassionate but both can hold their own and confident in themselves
