her face when he told her “but really you’re just a drunk and a slut” hurt me so much.. wanted to give her a hug

I hate how society shames women for having consensual sex by calling them "slut" "hoe" we have to stop doing that if men aren't shame for it

@@zizojaezekeom3565 or when feminists swing all the way to the extreme. defending women when they're wrong. Camille slept with the #1 suspect (who's barely legal by the way). all while she just slept with the detective. so he's right. she was a drunk an a slut,

Yes no wonder Camille was so fucked up, even when she returned to the town as an adult she was still ostracized, there was so much 'othering' going on eg. being called 'the Preaker girl', not even being called her by her actual name. She's already an outsider from her own family as she has a different father and surname.

this was a whole journey i- where do i start. this really felt like a summary of sharp objects starting with the focus on camille and shifting to amma. all of camille's pain from her traumatic childhood, to amma dealing with the aftermath. (being constantly sick all alone.) amma relating her 'incorrigible' nature to camille's because in her eye they're one in the same. "you love dead girls" (no you do!) anyways this was a masterpiece thank u.

The first part with her mom breaks my heart. My mom was the same way, never liked or loved me but adored my sister. Never knew why though.
