He is very good but not the hardest Hitting Safety in College Football History, That title belongs to Dr. or Mr. Death Himself " Jack Tatum". He wore a Towel around His waist with 2 skeleton bones crossing each other, Look Him up on You Tube Jack Tatum's Hard Hits. Tatum was one of The few DB who could bench press 500lbs. They had a picture of Him in The weight room lifting about 350lbs over His Head, & it looks like He was lifting (it with no Sweat) 5lbs. One of the few WR that He hit in college was Jackie Brown from Stanford, in which He completely obliterated Him, KO'ed Him out of The game. He also knocked Heisman Trophy Winner O.J.Simpson out of The National Champioship game. O.J broke( set The longest run from Scrimmage at that time) in The 1st Half which at that time OJ was about To set The Rosebowl rushing record) & O.J. only needed 5 yrs to break the rushing record & had The whole 2nd half to do it., When the 2 teams were walking to the Locker room .at Half time, when Tatum told Him you done got (yours) all the rushing you going to have. He hit Him so hard that He couldn't return ( ankle injury), & when He got to the Pro's He even destroyed some of the best WR & TE & RB in The game. Just to name a few Russ Francis, who was a Enormous Monster & All Pro for The Patriots most considered Him The Best TE in the game at that time, Have Moses ( Big & Fast 6ft 3 × Weight 215lbs) who was an all Pro WR. for The Broncos, Riley Odoms, who was a Huge TE & another All Pro, in (Tatum's) His Book He said that He hit Odoms do hard that He was actually Crying, Crying for His mama. In the Super bowl against The Vikings, He completely Destroyed The Vikings All Pro WR. Sammy White, in which He knocked His Helmet off His Head Back 5 yrs or more. & You can't forget what He did to All Pro NE Patriots WR. Darryl Stingley, He Paralyzed Him for life in which He died from complications from that Hit several Years Later. He also destroyed Pittsburg All Pro WR. Lynn Swann arguable The Best wideout in The Game, & last what He did to Houston Earl Campbell (235lbs who was big with enormous thighs, whom some say argueably was The Best RB in The game at that time also Campbell was voted in The History of The Game, The # 3 Power Back of all Times, well they had a full speed Head on collision, He stood him up on His Head & Campbell He couldn't return to the game.
