Alot of the qbs here in South Florida are short and fast so thats why they move to wr in college. Not necessarily the best athlete but the best one who can throw goes at QB

it's not that florida doesn't have good QB play, it's the fact that these QB's are playing against SEC and ACC talent on defense every friday night. If you look at the films from both, you'll notice that the game speed in florida is much faster.

DB from Florida has the SEC athleticism. California DB is very instinctive and fundamentally sound. If you are a db coach who do you start as an incoming freshman, the player you have the least to worry about for me it's the California DB. I can see the Florida guy being an elite safety in 3 years his body type says so.
