Buena idea, podrían utilizar un disco flap o uno de desbaste fino. La desventaja de este método es que gasta mucho el cuchillo (saca mucho material) además hay que pasarlo por una chaira al final para enderezar el filo. Saludos cordiales.

It will destroy the temper on your knife if you do this. Never heat up a blade your shrapening. If its sparking you just ruined the factory temper. Im sure the original poster ment well but this is a terrible way to sharpen a kitchen knife. An axe or lawn mower blade sure but never a knife.

Avec un couteau pas cher qui ne coupe rien, pas de souci. Mais ne faites jamais ça avec un couteau qui coute cher. Achetez-vous des pierres, des aiguiseurs ou fusil. Mais cette méthode laissera des énorme trace sur la lame, à moins d'utilistion un papier très fin minimum 3000.

Do not do this to your knives!!! It will ruin the temper you never sharpen a good knife like this. Either wet stones, wicked edge, tormek or if your loaded a tradesman sharpening system in that order period. This is the problem with youtube videos anyone can look like they have a good idea but in reality its completely wrong and will damage your knives.
