Your title of the video doesn’t even begin to tell the viewer all they will learn. In the first one I watch about motion detection on a small object was so helpful in my highlighting my grandson in the ocean riding waves. I had been struggling with this issue. You and your videos are full of surprises and I realize I need to watch all your videos because there is more there than meets the eye. Thank you. 75 yr old gramma.

Sally, I'm extremely delighted that these tutorials are helping you and helping you enjoy doing things with the video of your grandson. Let me know if you face any challenges I haven't answered with a tutorial yet. You can find a PDF document that you can save and click on that will take you to most of the PowerDirector tutorials. It's located here: www.sharperturtle.com/PDF/PDL.pdf Welcome aboard. --Jim

In addition to the great title info, the centering button was a mind-blower! haha I'm not sure how I'd managed to miss that for the past year, but I'd been wondering why there wasn't an easier way to center things precisely! Now I know there is... Good stuff!

I sometimes overlook the obvious. There are so many moving parts in PowerDirector it's hard to keep them all straight. --Jim

Very nice technique. I have PD 14, so I am unable to do some of that stuff as demonstrated in this video

Thanks. Even though I have PD 15 there's still quite a bit here I can use.

I'm thankful that most of the techniques I show apply to all the recent versions of PD. Hopefully they will add more tools to your toolbox, Craig. --Jim

Thanks, Eric. I wish I had the time to customize each tutorial to all the recent versions, but that's not workable. Thankfully most of the core editing techniques don't change much. --Jim

Now after going though all that work can it be saved as a Title and the text color and attributes saved as a title that can easily be changed and placed over other video?
@SharperTurtle5 жыл бұрын
You can save the title as a custom template to use elsewhere. But you will have to apply any transitions and chroma key settings after you put it on a timeline. --Jim

That's odd that the effects is in PD17 and 365 but not in PD 19, which I have.

I agree. I don't know if it was an issue with Vitascene licensing or some incompatibility with the newer code, but the functionality is definitely different. --Jim

I tried to follow your tutorial video from Powerdirector 16, but it did not work. Did I do something wrong? Do you do any tutorial on Photodirector 9? Thank u.
